5 stars for the temple and the museum. One star minus cause they do not dispose of the obligatory POS for the payment. Entrée is 4€ and you must wear a mask. The museum has a reconstruction of some statues and columns and it is quite amazing.

Amazing temple. Located in such beautiful territory, the temple is almost entirely ruined but its evocative remains make us dream of its original splendour. Apparently, it is a really old example of a temple built entirely with marble, more than a hundred years before the superb Parthenon. The tiny and cosy museum aside is worthy as well due to its interesting collection and clear explanations. A must when visiting Naxos.

Worths a visit, once you 're on the island. Especially if you are interested in these kinds of things. Apart from the archaeological site, there's a small interesting museum. Get some water with you, you will not find any there. A hat and good shoes are a plus too.

What is particularly interesting in this temple dedicated to Demetra, goddess of agriculture, is the position overlooking a plain where the people of Naxos could grow their crops. It is all pure white marble. Another curiosity is that an ancient Christian church built in stones was annexed to it. The mystical atmosphere is relevant. Well kept museum is also worth a visit.

Very well kept temple, with a great little museum available for visit on the same ticket. Entrance is €4 per person with concessions available for elderly and Greek university students, cash only. Suggest you visit the temple first, and then head to the museum. Toilets are available at no extra charge. Staff were friendly. Be mindful of opening times, closes quite early. The walk to the temple is quite scenic, loved it.

Beautiful temple and old Christian Church in the middle of the valley in the middle of current farmland. Entry is 4 euro and is closed on Tuesdays. The last part of the roas is just a dirt road when coming from the east or south. Better from the west or Naxos town Sangri direction. There is a small museum with most info points in both Greek and English. The temple itself is small but well formed and been partially restored. You can see why this location was chosen for a temple of Demeter even back then. 25 minute drive from Naxos town.

Gorgeous piece of history that is a MUST see while you're visiting in Naxos. It has a Gorgeous drive there and some beautiful scenery once you're there. It said you have to pay to enter but the guard there just waved us in, not sure if that's normal so have some cash on you, they do not take card.
