The sanctuary of Hercules in the archeological site of Delos. You will go there from the path that goes up to Mount Kynthos. Just after the beginning of the path, on your right you will see a stone wall. From there there is a path that goes to the sanctuary.

Why is there a Monster in the ruins? Let's find it. Also a hatch.

Cool to visit but not worth the €20 ferry + €8 entry fee

Another nice site on the island. It's a shame some of the new buildings were made of other materials and negatively stand out against the ruins.

This place feels like an ancient energy portal. We live in Tinos and visit Delos very often. This is the one place we visit regularly every time we come. We usually stand in the elevated grounds on the back of the temple, looking out to the sea and meditate there.

Halfway up the path to the top of the hill there is a small path on the right (while going up), that will take you across the face of the hill and then a bit to the left. This bring you to the Temple of Hercules with some impressively large stone which lean against each other to form the roof. Well worth the hike to the top even though the heat made the climb a bit tougher. Bring water to Delos.

Incredible experience. incredible view! although it’s said to take 5h for the whole tour, we’ve could do it in 2 hours.

Delos is a very important place for western civilization. It dates from prehistoric times and even then it was an international sacred place as the temple of the Hyperborean maiden (Priestesses that came from the country that is over the north wind, Boreas, blows) that came from Scandinavia (?) Scythia (?) proves, which is next to the most important Apollo temple. See Herodotus Historiae (the first historian of humanity, Plato (Spuria, Stephanus page 371) and Aristotle.
