Is easy to write a comment with many negative output which doesn't apply here, this shop is great although the location might look otherwise, you can easily be confused. Service is great and the staff (old, experienced) will help in whatever you need. I read some people say that they were charged for bread and they did not order it, but, in Greece this is a customized -cultured part of this society beyond if you eat or not, you might be charged. However isn't a big deal. I know this place for long time and was yesterday the first time seat down and eat so well that cannot complaint. Food was very fresh and well done. The dried spices over the bread and authentic Greek oil were used. You must visit cause is worth of the money.

During a vacation in Athens I went to this place twice. The first time I didn’t notice anything wrong. The second time I noticed that my bill was more than I expected. The bill has not a single word of English on it. Luckily, I speak and read a very small amount of Greek. The waiter over charged us for our drinks. But what made me really upset is that he brings out “complimentary” bread that we never asked for. He brings this out for every single table. It’s not complimentary at all. He charges you for it even if you don’t ask for it. He does this for every tourist in the area. Don’t go!

The food was not even cooked well . I asked the waiter to look after it or swap it he not only refused but didn’t even say sorry and only argued . I would not recommended to any one . Peace out .

The resturant is very covid safe, new paper table cloths for every person, hand gel on tables, fans outside to circulate air wait staff all wearing masks, laminated menus that get wipes clean. The wait staff all speak good English and explained the dishes for me and gave thier recommendations, the food is very generous portions and the meat prepared fresh for every order. The pitta bread was warm and so delicious, the chicken was so delicious! I really recommend the Omonoia special - it is a pitta chicken wrap and had chicken meat and salad and sauce with chips separate as well for €8 in August 2021. It is a very large portion so I do recommend sharing this! I had to take most of it home in a take away box. It was delicious! My family and I returned the the restaurant the next evening as well, this time o had a chicken pitta wrap for €3.20 and was incredible and just the perfect size. A 1 litre bottle of water is around €1.20 which is very cheap and they have delicious bottled water here. The staff are very mindful of keeping their customers safe and happy and comfortable. They made sure noone comes in to hassle customers with selling street items (e.g. fake jewelry and begging. Which has happened to us in other resturants). Everyone was very thankful of not being bothered, and the staff were very polite about it. Fully recommend this clean, hygienic, delicious and warm welcoming resturant to everyone. Visited twice and would visit again for sure!

Good value for money at a very central location. The pork Gyros was really good, not great. Fries unfortunately cold and there was little Tsatsiki, which was also lacking flavor. Can’t go wrong with the place but don’t expect a miracle.
