K	Konstantinos Gousopoulos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had to do with a rude and aggressive manager who was trying to create noise with no reason. For example at 19:15 he refused to make a tea for no reason and with aggressive tone. (He informed us that the kitchen closes at 22:00) He managed to have a fight with most of the members of our team and our team leader and made our stay miserable despite the fact that we had full respect to the rules of the refugee. His behaviour was close to harassment on each member.

Giorgios, the guy running the show was quick to response via email and confirmed our boking. we arrived after a long climb. the hut is clean and very well organized. the rules are strict and observed by the staff, however, the atmosphere is easy going. the kitchen is open until 20:30 or so to order a limited variety of mostly tasty meals and drinks. beds are relatively comfortable. due to COVID no sheets were provided. be sure to bring your ear-plugs for the night. shortly- a great place to stay at while crossing from Papigo villages to the other side. or vice versa. there's a web site with al the information about the hut.
S	Stefania M. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to hike for more days it's a good option sleep here for one or two night. Dogs are not allowed inside but you can put your tent very close and use the service of the refuge. Restaurant are cheap and staff are friendly
F	Friktor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The manager is rude and with no sense of professionalism at all. He left a group of 40 mountaineers in hunger because of some personal issues with their leader! This is unacceptable way to treat mountaineers that come exhausted and in need of some food to a refuge which role is to treat these people with care and respect. It is a disgrace to the Greek federation to let such kind of people to manage refuges.
H	Henk Jan Oosterhuis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful mountain refuge at an incredible location, all of which is almost cancelled out by a very unfriendly caretaker. When a few issues arose during our check-in, he responded very meanly, blaming everything on us and making us feel like terrible people. My friends, who are refugees in Greece, experienced this as racism and were surprised at the lack of hospitality. I understand and respect the fact that there are rules that need to be kept, but it should be possible to do that in a nicer way. Thankfully, when the issues were resolved, his demeanor improved significantly.

The manager is extremely rude and abrupt. He speaks with irony and aggressiveness. If you interact with him in your stopover, it might ruin your trip. I feel sorry as a Greek to see that he doesn't know what hospitality means. P.S. all the products were quite expensive!
C	Cos Tas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The refuge is in a position with amazing view in all directions. The rooms are comfortable and clean as well as the toilets. It has two dining rooms and the menu provides the basics that are well cooked. The route to Drakolimni has a fairly uphill part that will be a little difficult and requires about 1.30 hours. Have fun !
