Unfortunately this place has been ruined, work was started to renovate in a fashion but the construction that was began has been smashed by vandals and is still laying in ruins.

Strange place. Not looked after it seems and no information.

Interesting to open tops of adjacent Roman wells and see underground water. Explains why Crete is relatively green despite little running water.

Right up the hill from where we stayed. A nice little walk... Serene... Inspired a sense of wonder, thinking about how these wells were made, and used for hundreds of years. Otherworldly.

It's a part of greek history and the only downside, it could do with some attention . Worth a visit and just walk a little further and you have a beautiful cemetery

An eerie, kinda otherworldly location, with omenous wells and strange, cross branching trees.

Worths a short visit if you are interest to see these quite unique wells. The place is abandoned however. No care at all from the archeological authorities.
