★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only 10 minutes from Aristi village there is the Vikos village. This village is very small and with one or two restaurants and a few places to sleep in.
But the main attraction of this village and also in Zagori is the viewpoint which offers an amazing 180 degrees lookout on the Vikos Gorge, Astraka mountain and the villages of Papingo. Definitely a "must" place to visit while traveling in Zagori.
It is only 100 meters from the center of the village where you can park your car and walk to the two sheds in the viewpoint.
At the entrence of the village, 200 meters from the viewpoint, there is the start of a trail that is going down to the Voidomatis River Springs and a small church.

in my personal case we came in the very early mornings to catch the sun rise.
a quit place that is very beautiful.
the only con is that becuse it is so high up and surrounded with mountains, even after 2 hours the sun did not rise above the mountains.
Other than that, great place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice view of the Vikos gorge. This viewpoint and Oxya viewpoint were amazing and provided different perspectives of the gorge. There is a cute little structure with a wood roof that you can sit under and enjoy the view. It was relatively easy to find from the road and was definitely worth the drive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, what a hike. Not easy but was worth every climb. We started at Monodendri and finished at Vikos. It is recommended you leave your car at Vikos and take a taxi to Monodendri.
