Villa Pelagos - Luxury Villas on Crete - Gialia

We are a family of 4 and stayed at Villa Pelagos in August 2021. It’s an ‘upsidedown villa’ with the bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor, and the open plan living room, kitchen and dining area on the first floor. The villa is modern, spacious and has everything you could need for a couple of weeks. The outside space in particular is excellent with a good-sized pool, plenty of sun loungers, an outside bar and seating area (with a small bathroom tucked behind), a BBQ and even a table tennis table which our children (14 and 11) used a great deal! We spent most of the time by the pool or out on the upstairs veranda eating al fresco and enjoying the breeze. 2 of the bedrooms are ideal sizes (one double, one twin) and then there is a third much smaller room which has a small bunkbed but would be fine for younger children. The bathroom is generous with a walk-in shower and 2 sinks, plus there’s the benefit of the outside bathroom which also has a shower in it. In an understairs cupboard there’s a washing machine and other housekeeping supplies. The kitchen has everything you need (dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, etc) and an abundance of crockery and cutlery. It opens out to the veranda where you can sit for meals or there is a dining table to seat 6 inside. The lounge has a large flatscreen TV and also opens out to the veranda. All rooms have their own air-con which can be individually controlled (which was put to good use as the temperature did climb to 42 degrees while we were staying). There is WiFi at the property but it was only able to be used whilst on the ground floor. To the front of the villa is a car port as well as parking for a further vehicle. A sliding gate helps to keep the property secure. We loved our time at the villa and we settled in very quickly which helped all of us to relax early on in the holiday. Audrey and the team at Luxury Villas on Crete are exceptional from the early communication, to the bookings ahead of the trip (we booked car hire and a private chef through them), through to the on-site welcome, any ongoing enquiries and our departure too. We wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again and would highly recommend.

Wonderful long weekend with the girls in early spring. Beautiful local walks, stopped in Sissi for a coffee and some brunch, wild flowers were adorable. The local people were so friendly, I think we kept them amused with our 'shenanigans'. Safe walk back from bars and restaurants in Sissi, full of local delicious food and lovely wines. The villa itself is pure luxury, I could quite happily stay there for the rest of my days. Pool area fully equipped for outdoor dining and partying, with huge fridges and food prep area and bbq, shower and WC, beautiful seating and hidden gems such as hammocks and easy chairs. I loved the living space upstairs, dining with a view with door straight off the kitchen to dining terrace. Bedroom doors opening straight on to garden and pool area, just heaven ?

Gorgeous villa in a lovely setting, within walking distance of the main town of Sisi. Well looked after with excellent outdoor facilities including a pool, a bar and outdoor shower/toilet. Great for all holiday goers with a good amount of space. Comfy beds and lovely terrace to eat meals out on. Highly recommend
