★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing restaurant! We went there after a suggestion from friends. The food quality was amazing! All the dishes we ordered had top quality and taste! It's one if the few times that I have enjoyed all dishes in a restaurant! Staff is very polite and helpful. I attach a few pictures from some dishes and the restaurant. For sure book a table before you go. The place fills up and you will not be able to sit. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Vourvouladikon staff may not want me to write this as they are very proud of how the locals of Heraklion cherish this hidden gem. But I must say that the food here is outstanding and the entire staff was so welcoming and attentive...they truly made our first meal in Heraklion a memorable one. Everything suggested was delicious!! Crispy pork-"Kapriko", Sadet's pie, Ntomadakia, and the green salad with beets. All wonderful. Top marks!

Oh my goodness, I am not even out of the restaurant while I write this. The place was outstanding. Do not miss the potatoes with the yogurt dressing, the pasta with mushrooms leek fennel. We might just come back tomorrow to have it again :) the green salad is refreshing also. I liked the retsina wine a lot which seems to be the local wine (my first time in Crete)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to eat in Herakleio, serving a variety of starters, salads and main dishes.
Local and fresh ingredients producing traditional cretan options. Most of them (based on my standards) were great. Some others (eg the “apaki”) I would prefer them to be more tasteful.
The service was noble and prompt. The were also wearing properly masks giving you a sense of security. Well done guys.
The exterior is really amazing. A beautiful and nice decorated yard.
I will visit the place again for sure
