Η Ιερα Μονη εντος και εκτος ειναι κατανυκτικη...στολιδι σκετο για αυτα τα κακοτραχαλα βουνα..η θεα εξαιρετικη ...Οι δε Ματσουκιωτες υπερ-φιλοξενοι...Για αυτους που ψαχνονται για βουνα αξιζει...Επισης εχει προσβαση μεσω μονοπατιου για τους Καλαριττες The space is excellent ... Έχει πολύ ωραία θέα στο φαράγγι και είναι δυτική, άρα έχει και καλό ηλιοβασίλεμα. Κατά τα άλλα, δεν είναι κάτι το ιδιαίτερο, και εκτελούνται έργα βελτίωσης, πλακοστρώσεις κ.λπ. (Χριστουγεννα 2018). Καλύτερα να περιμένετε λίγο να τη φτιάξουν εντελώς και μετά να πάτε. Well-maintained monastery, accessible by a 1.2 km cobbled path, about 30 minutes from the turn you leave the car. It has a very nice view of the gorge and is west, so it has a good sunset. Otherwise, it is not something special, and improvement works, paving, etc. are performed. (Christmas 2018). Δ	Δημήτρης Κουτσομητέλης on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Όμορφη καλοδιατηρημένη μόνη, σε πολύ ωραία τοποθεσία με εντυπωσιακή θέα στο φαράγγι και το χωριό Καλαρρύτες.. 3 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο από το χωριό Ματσούκι, περίπου 30λ περπάτημα σε καλντερίμι μέχρι τη μονή, της οποίας τα κλειδιά βρίσκονται στο καφέ της πλατείας του χωριού.. Beautiful well kept alone, in a very nice location with spectacular views of the gorge and the village of Kalarrites .. 3 minutes drive from Matsuki village, about 30l walk to cobbled road to the monastery, the keys of which are in the cafe of the village square. .

The site of Vylissa was once the homonymous fortress, according to the proverb that is still preserved: Kastro, Vyliza, Matsouki village, Kalarrytes michalas and Syrrako five houses. The word Villeza comes from the Latin Vigo, which means shielding, guarding, lying down. In the Vlach the corresponding word is (a) veglium. If Kalarrytes and Syrrako are placed before or long before the 15th century, then Matsouki is more ancient and even older is the castle of Vyliza.
