★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a coat twice and I accidentally refunded the wrong one. Seconds late I realised I returned the one I wanted to keep. I asked the lady to buy it again instantly and wouldn’t let me, claiming it’s the company’s policy.
This happened to me in the past as I purchase stuff from Zara all year long and sometimes I get confused. I always had zero issues to re buy something I mistakenly returned. The online customer support told me I could buy it since it was right there in stock but at least two supervisors told me I just couldn’t. All they had to do was renew the price or whatever procedure needed to be done directly in order to get it but they persistently denied. This garment was of special edition and I strongly believe they wanted to keep it for themselves. I was starting to feel really bad for the cruel attitude towards a very loyal customer.. very disappointing..
Went back there later today and asked another supervisor who was aware of the incident and got the same answer. There is something tricky about it that doesn’t make sense. What I truly believe and feel is that it was not the policy but their lack of will to help. I was right there and I knew the product was right there in stock too to get it.
To Zara there is no such thing as customer service/ care and we are not customers to them, we are only money to a billionaires pockets. After 20 years of buying clothes almost exclusively from Zara, I think it’s time to quit.
