★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We‘ve been to the 2 friends taverna today and our first impression of it was great. Very nice view, nice furnitures and it was clean.
We ordered Pasta, salad and a starter. The starter and the salad came after roughly 15 minutes. The Food was very good and we were looking forward to the pasta.
Unfortunatley it took 45 minutes till the pasta was served. After nearly a total of 60 minutes waiting i wasn‘t hungry anymore.
Why I still give the 2 friends 5 out of 5 stars? Because the owner saw that we waited too long for the pasta and offered us to take the pasta of from the bill and he felt genuinly sorry. We will Come back to enjoy the view, the food and the great service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an awesome traditional greek restaurant. The service is also excellent. Especially the fried zucchini as a starter tasted amazing. We highly recommend this restaurant when you visit Matala.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for fresh fish directly overlooking the beach! We have returned here numerous times and the food has been consistently exquisite. Especially recommend the tunafish carpaccio, calamari, grouper, and mullet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had diner today and took the fish soup of the day and moussaka. It was an excellent taste, looked beautiful and the price was also very good. The place is nice to dine in. So we can really recommend it!
