★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Taverna in Matala. It's a small family-run restaurant, you'll get a warmly welcome and some traditional stifado dishes, you'll nowhere else be able to taste! And if you're nice to the owner, you'll maybe get to try the best raki in the world!
No big touristic place, just small, comfy, nice view and friendly atmosphere.

The mussels were very tasty , the best mussels I ever tasted.
You get a free bottle of raki that’s very sweet!!
At the moment we went there he sold honey and it was the best honey I ever tasted!!
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute little place, friendly owners, nice views. Unfortunately the fish platter was not as expected: rubbery calamaris, dry swordfish & undercooked mussels. The one grilled shrimp on the plate was great though! As was the garlic bread.
