★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was on holiday for 16 days around the Crete and no joking, was tbe best food i have ever eaten on this trip. The host? They are literally care about us because we do not eat carbs and sugar and they treat us as no other. I will definitely go there again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ do you want to eat the best food ever in Matala? stay at this restaurant. i was wondering why people stay and que half and hour befor they even open. well..this is why. the food is delicios. you should try the octopus and the tzatziky bread with fried shrimp and greek salad. also the potatos were perfect. i will come again for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Completely unsalted food, green beans, mussels and pesto below average. Tuna, shrimp linguini and mushroom risotto were good. Finoccio was a surprise.
Service was very good. Definitely overated in GM.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best in Matala. They offer a bit different dishes than the other restaurants, more modern and lighter versions of traditional Greek food. They also have good vegetarian and vegan options. And they have lovely wines!

The house speciality lamb slow cooked and baked in thin dough is the most delicious thing I ate in entire Crete 10/10 recommend.
The owner and his wife are beyond friendly and made us feel super welcome.
The restaurant has a Beautiful story that you can ask the owner about.
