T	Thorsten Wader on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr freundlicher alter Herr erklärt in gebrochenen Englisch die Kirche zum Hl. Jakobus von 1100. Alte Fresken von 1160. Auch im Allerheiligen viele Fresken. Achtung: Frauen dürfen nicht ins Allerheilige. Sehr schön erhalten. Beeindruckend. Very friendly old man explains in broken English the church of St. James of 1100. Old frescoes from 1160. Also in the All Saints' Day many frescoes. Attention: women are not allowed into the All Saints. Very nice. Impressive.
Y	Ybur on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mijn broer en ik waren hier toen we de Pantokrator gingen beklimmen. Als je lef hebt, kun je hier zelf de klokken luiden. We zijn over het hek geklommen om te kijken of we er in konden, maar dat bleek niet het geval. Voor de rest is het een zeer mooie kerk in Grieks-Orthodoxe stijl. My brother and I were here when we went to climb the Pantokrator. If you have the guts, you can ring the bells here yourself. We climbed over the fence to see if we could get in, but that turned out not to be the case. For the rest it is a very beautiful church in Greek Orthodox style.

Im Vergleich zu den anderen Kirchen in Paleo Perithia ist diese hier relativ groß und scheint noch für Gottesdienste genutzt zu werden. Die Kirche, deren Name wir nicht ergründen konnten, ist von einem Zaun umgeben, dessen Tor verschlossen ist. At the entrance to Paleo Perithia, where you arrive with a normal car, there is a church. Compared to the other churches in Paleo Perithia, this one is relatively large and still seems to be used for church services. The church, whose name we could not fathom, is surrounded by a fence, the gate of which is locked.
D	Dirk DiSc on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich bin eigentlich kein Kirchengänger, aber der freundliche Herr am Eingang hat uns so herzlich empfangen und aufgefordert in die Kirche einzutreten... da konnte ich auch nicht widersprechen.. Er erzählte uns dann die Entstehung und die Geschichte des Walfshrtsortes. Schon beeindruckend die Fresken und Wandmalereien..sehr schaurig war die Vorstellung das unter den Steinplatten Geistliche beigesetzt wurden und dort noch ruhen.. I am actually not a churchgoer, but the friendly gentleman at the entrance welcomed us warmly and asked us to enter the church ... I couldn't contradict ... He then told us the origins and history of the Walfshrtsort. The frescoes and wall paintings were impressive ... the idea that clergymen were buried under the stone slabs and still rested there was very eerie.

A	Andrius Valinskis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place in this not so good old village. Old man with passion telling stories about church and history of paintings in few english words but love is true and you can feel it. Road and parking dissapoints, try to avoid midday and afternoon crowds.
