★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το καλό μ'αυτό τον σταθμό είναι ότι βρίσκεται κάτω από την Αχαρνών και δεν δημιουργεί τόσο πρόβλημα κίνησης.
Παρόλα αυτά, θα πρέπει γίνει με κάποιον τρόπο υπόγειος.
Κατά τ'άλλα, βρώμξκος και υποβαθμισμένος σταθμός, χρειάζεται ανακαίνηση όπως και όλη η περιοχή.
 The good thing about this station is that it is located below Acharnon and does not create so much traffic problem.
However, it must somehow become underground.
Otherwise, dirty and degraded station, needs renovation like the whole area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο Σταθμός Άγιος Νικόλαος είναι σταθμός του μετρό της Αθήνας, επί της γραμμής 1, στη χιλιομετρική θέση 13,164 από το σταθμό Πειραιά. Βρίσκεται στην Αθήνα, ανάμεσα στις οδούς Μιχαήλ Βόδα και Ιωνίας, οι οποίες είναι παράλληλες με την οδό Αχαρνών. Το όνομά του προέρχεται από τον γειτονικό Ιερό Ναό του Αγίου Νικολάου. Εγκαινιάστηκε στις 12 Φεβρουαρίου 1956 (την ίδια μέρα με τους σταθμούς Κάτω Πατήσια και Άνω Πατήσια) και ανακαινίσθηκε εξ ολοκλήρου το 2004, ενώ μέσα στο 2010 ολοκληρώθηκαν και οι εργασίες ανακαίνισης των γραμμών.
Διαθέτει δύο πλευρικές αποβάθρες. Ο σταθμός βρίσκεται επάνω σε στροφή της τροχιάς των γραμμών και έτσι σε ορισμένα σημεία υπάρχει μεγάλο κενό μεταξύ της αποβάθρας και των συρμών, όπως συμβαίνει και στον σταθμό Μοναστηράκι της γραμμής 1. Σε κάθε αποβάθρα του σταθμού υπάρχει ανελκυστήρας, ενώ οι δύο αποβάθρες συνδέονται υπογείως με πεζοδιάβαση.

Agios Nikolaos Station is a metro station in Athens, on line 1, at 13,164 km from Piraeus Station. It is located in Athens, between Michail Voda and Ionias streets, which are parallel to Acharnon Street. Its name comes from the neighboring Church of Agios Nikolaos. It was inaugurated on February 12, 1956 (the same day as Kato Patisia and Ano Patisia stations) and was completely renovated in 2004, while in 2010 the renovation works of the lines were completed.
It has two side docks. The station is located on a turn of the trajectory of the lines and so in some places there is a big gap between the dock and the trains, as is the case at Monastiraki station of line 1. At each dock of the station there is an elevator, while the two dock are connected underground with hiking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice decoration, but it's a station that's not much needed. Kato Patisia station is only like an 8' walk from there more or less. It's convenient though, if you wanna head directly to the district of Thymarakia on the West, or to Agios Nikolaos on the East. It's at the Northenmost part of Michail Voda street.
