★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in the Agora Suites for 7 working weeks over the summer. It is a fantastic apartment. Well equipped, with good wifi, washing machine, iron, TVs, air con. Has a well stocked galley kitchen, perfect for some cost saving home cooking when you just can't manage another souvlaki. It also has a perfect balcony, shaded in the day, for relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine, and enjoying some people watching in the old town below. It's well located, right next to the market and also a busy street full of excellent cafes and restaurants, but just round the corner so the place is quiet and relaxing once the front door is closed. The main harbour is a few minutes away through picturesque pedestrian back streets, and Nea Chora beach is an easy 15 minute walk. Finally, the hosts are absolutely wonderful and couldn't do more for us, from advice and local tips, to magic'ing up new toothbrushes when we realised we had left ours at home. We hope to come back soon, if this review doesn't result in the place being booked out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great apartment in the heart of Chania. Evangelos was one of the best hosts ever encountered. He always made sure we had everything we need and provided all kind of help - from suggesting the best restaurants in town (having tried many, we totally agree with his suggestions) to booking a car. His parents live nearby and are available for any immediate request - during working hours you can always find his mother Niki in the pharmacy downstairs. The flat was spotlessly clean and super comfortable. It has 3 beds (2 double and a single that extends into another double), it is perfect for families with children. The kitchen is very well equipped and there are all sorts of amenities (iron with board, hairdryer, dehumidifier, drying rack), it is very comfortable for long stays - including for those who look to work remotely off season. There's also a nice small balcony with a view on Chania historic market. The location is amazing, some of Chania best restaurants (the non bad touristy type you find in the harbor) are just downstairs on the same road. Everything is at a short walk distance, including parking in case you rent a car to tour the island as we did. We had a great time and would surely come back!
