Amazing 5-star city hotel right at the coast of Crete! The staff in the hotel was very welcoming from the moment we walked in. We stayed 8 days. We stayed in a room with sea view and private pool. The room was always cleaned properly throughout our stay. The room was very spacious and the design is just spot on. The private pool is quite refreshing as there is no sun on the balcony, however we really enjoyed it. The Breakfast Buffet offered a broad variety of dishes from simple Greek yoghurt, to British breakfast options and tons of fresh fruits. Drinks are included and are brought to the table. The iced coffee was just sooo delicious! The Dinner Buffet offers something for everyone from meat to fish and lots of vegetarian options. Throughout our stay the Buffet changed everyday and we were always excited to try new dishes. The service was amazing, very welcoming and really fulfilled the whole experience. As we had the private pool we didn’t stay at the big common pool, which was always quite busy and beds were usually already reserved by guests even though it’s forbidden by the hotel. We stayed most of the time at the beautiful beach with stunning clear water. There were always some spots available. The hotel is located in a rather touristic area - surprise! - therefore there were lots of shops (also cliche souvenir shops) to check out and big variety of restaurants and bars. Just in front of the hotel there is the busstop to Heraklion and Malia. The closer you get to the harbor (app. 30 minutes walk) the more touristic it gets. We tried to avoid the harbor area as much as possible. All in all, we can 100% recommend this hotel and look forward to come again.

A 5-star hotel with a grumpy reception staff, a horrible smell in the hallway and repetitive food every day. Avoid booking a room with a city view, the view is to a busy, noisy and dirty street. The only good things are the comfortable bed and the location close to the sea.

We have just finished our 11 night stay at Akasha and we have loved every second! From the moment you arrive, until the second you leave, the staff are so friendly and helpful! Particularly the bar and resteraunt staff, they are all so lovely. The hotel is beautiful, with brilliant rooms and is in an excellent location. Hersonissos port is a 10 minute walk away, with tonnes of bars and resteraunts along the way. We had a sea view room, and our view was wonderful! This is our first time in Crete, and we will 100% be back. The food is good and the cocktails are great! Thank you so much to all of the Akasha team for giving us a wonderful holiday! We really enjoyed our stay. It's a nice, modern hotel with welcoming employees. Nice Pool and Beach area. We felt welcomed every day. Can definitely recommend :)

Where to begin, Very nice modern, clean and beautiful hotel. Beautiful rooms only the bathroom was a bit small but all you needed was there. Beautiful pool especially at night, only to cold to swim even at the end of may at 29°C. Needed some heating. The lower pool was beter because the sun warmed it up faster as the week passed away. Also despite the forbidden bedreservations at the pool till 9 am, everything was allready reserved since 7-8am. Needed to be more consequent on that rule. Food was delicious even it was a lot with the same products, it was always a different flavor. However the food was the same genre of Turkish food, it wasn't that sweet or greasy wat was nice. We had all-inclusive and the snacks during the day where low on varieties and not a lot was offered. The service was very friendly especially Nada, one of the best waitresses at the restaurant! Very kind always smiling and never had to wait for something ze ordered. Lovely setup with the lounge/bar especially at might or sunrise. For me some work for the poolheating, bedreservations with towels, snack for all-inclusive. I would recommend the hotel and will book it once again!

Hotel: The hotel is beautiful and looks like the pictures. Everything is clean and we didn’t hear any noise in our room. Even though the hotel is located in the middle of a busy street, as soon as you enter the hotel you don’t see or hear anything from that and the entire hotel feels like a calming place for relaxation. We had a room with a privat pool which was just perfect. The beach and the three hotel-pools (2 outdoor and 1 indoor) were also beautiful, clean and we never had trouble finding a place to sit or lay down at. Staff: The staff is extremely kind and helpful, you immediately feel like you’re among friends. Everyone excels at their job and you can tell, that they are very professional and know what they’re doing. Food: The food is amazing. There’s a big variety and everything is fresh. They have Cretan, Greek and international food and the selection changes every night. Extras: We asked for a later checkout time and it was no problem at all. We were able to stay in our room until 4pm on our last day for a small fee. Our biggest recommendation is the spa. We felt so comfortable there and got the best massages we ever had. The facial treatments were also very relaxing and our skin feels amazing afterwards. They adapt the massages to your personal needs and even orthopedic history. Especially Elena impressed us, as she even showed us some physical exercises to do at home. Thank you for everything, we will definitely be back!

I recently visited the resort and ohh boy it was amazing. It’s looks just as good as in the pictures. The service is incredible, the people are lovely. The rooms are clean and tidy. The food is amazing and the location is just perfect to tour the area. Everything is within walking distance.

I absolutely would recommend this hotel to anyone! It was everything! I hadn't been on holiday since 2019 and it was just the best holiday ever. The hotel decor is beautiful, the staff are so friendly, accommodating and helpful and the location was perfect. I want to come back now!!! My only one small downside is the fact the pools in the room are not heated. To pay quite a lot more for a pool room but for it to be freezing and not usable is not ideal - tried to downgrade to a hot tub room just for the sake it would be warm but unfortunately no rooms left!
