Best trip so far, super service and top location. I dont think you'll find anything better if you're looking for a 5star resort!

Lovely place ,great staff ,a little disappointed with the evening meal ,as I am not a fan of buffet service ,but the food was good and the Al la carte restaurant was fantastic .Having said that had a great holiday .

The hotel located in fantastic place nearby Hersonissos town (around 3km). The room cozy with good views on the sea, everyday cleanse. The weakness of the hotel is the lack of attractions in the evenings. DJs or artists only for an hour - between nine and ten in the evening- what is definitely not enough. Food good but could be more varied.I advise against visit the Candia restaurant. The food there was terrible. I recommend a visit to „Royal Palm” Restoration. They serve delicious Japanese dishes, especially the tempura shrimp was delicious. A special greatest to Ms Maria, waiteress in the pool bar”calypso” and Ms Maria waiteress on main restaurant. That's the lovely persons.

Up market, professional and friendly. Greece without the fiddly bits. You don't run out of hot water, you don't have to take your own plugs for the sink and the wifi works in the rooms. A couple of okay beaches right there and some pleasant sheltered coves within easy walking distance. This is a big complex, so you will walk for 5 minutes up to the restaurant if you're at the beach end. I'd go back. It's easy simple and relaxing. Food is varied and decent with some Greek specialities. Special mention to all the Symposio crew and of course the maitre d' always helpful and attentive.

Lovely spot, food was some of the best all inclusive I've ever had. The staff were all so friendly, particularly Rula and Maria from the pool bars but everyone was so kind and fun and accommodating.

We had a fine stay at this hotel, although it is not of the same quality in some aspects when compared to other 5-star hotels in Greece in the same price range. It felt more like 4-star We had a great holiday but most likely won't return to this hotel. The hotel has recently, few weeks ago, been bought by the Mitsis hotel group. We only found out shortly prior to arrival, but if you have a Mitsis member card, you can use the respective privileges. After stayed at Mitsis Blue Domes (Kos) and visiting Mitsis Laguna during our stay (once again thank you!), we believe some of the con's below will be solved soon in the future. Pro's: + No hassle at all to get towels, unlimited towels for everyone. + Guest relations: they are really helpful with all your requests. + Pools and beach are very spacious. Almost always sunbeds available, even when fully booked. Only few people 'reserve' their beds in the early morning. + Good coffee and house wines. + Quality of buffet is good for an all-in hotel + The cocktails from Roula (main pool) and Afrodite (beach) are the best. These 2 positive, always smiling ladies make your day. + Good live music in evening and, + No music at all at beach and pools. Perfect for a nice quiet environment. + Spacious resort. + A la carte restaurants are nice. But a little overdone: the waiter wanted me to taste the wine, while it was exactly the same wine as they serve in paper cups at the beach bar during the day. Really missing the point. + Hotel is not the newest but well maintained. Con's: - times of breakfast and dinner buffet limited, resulting in a crowded restaurant. - only very few options for snacks outside buffet times. No snacks available at the beach, only a few sandwiches and sweets at the main building. - only one real bar during the evening for all 300+ rooms. Not enough seats available to accommodate all guests. - no minibar refill at all during our 11 days stay, not even with bottles of water. - no butler service at the beach or pool. - concerning the a la carte restaurants, guests that dine as part of the all-inclusive package get a different service than those that pay for the a la carte restaurants. For example, simple water from plastic bottles versus branded water from glass bottles. Strange and unnecessary difference. Also, all-in guests can not chose from the complete menu, some choices come with a supplement. - getting coffee and tea during breakfast is a real struggle. Guests are not allowed to get their own and are send away when they do so, but waiting until someone takes your order takes far, far, far to long. This really should be improved! If you leave late in the afternoon/evening, ask to extend your room a couple of days in advance. We asked to extend one day prior our departure, but got a simple 'no' on our request. All hotels we have ever been to asked us to request the room extension one day prior to departure, but this hotel requires you to ask for it much earlier. It's oké, but no way we could have known ... The car rental office in the hotel is ok, but a little expensive when compared to local agencies. You pay for the convenience of renting at the hotel. 1 day rental of Hyundai i10 / Aygo / 108 is around 55 to 60 euros. 2 day around 110, 3 day around 160. 7 days around 310, all prices all risk, full insurance, and including second driver for free. Keep in mind that the fuel price at Crete is high, we paid 2.44 euro / liter in June 2022

We were offered an “upgrade” for 1 night from another hotel. We are not sure if, in hindsight, that was indeed an “upgrade”, the room is bigger (1 BR/2Bath suite) but outdated. Not many selections or variety for the restaurants. - The vibe of the hotel is very senior (the guests are mostly 65+) - The turf is right next to the pool, it brings down a lot of dirt from the turf to the pool which is not a smart design in my opinion. - For some reason, my skin got blue stains(not bruise)from either water from the pool or the beach towel from the hotel. - The resort is very confusing with the price in the restaurant. I’m not quite sure how it works, you thought it’s an all inclusive but there are actually some restaurants not eligible for the all inclusive. Therefore you have to pay extra for “discount” rate. - The food and the beverage is good and has a good amount of selection on breakfast buffet. - The direct access to the beach is nice. The water is clear, it’s a white sand beach. Overall, I don’t think we would come back to the hotel. It’s not a 5 star in my opinion. A short stay would be fine but no more than 2 nights. It doesn’t offer too much entertainment. Pretty quiet during the day time.
