Stayed here many times, including the days surrounding our wedding at the church nextdoor. Love the whole place, the location with the views, and the brothers who run it! The hospitality here has been fantastic. The staff have been very kind and helpful. This quaint hotel offers beautiful accomodations with spectacular views. Breakfast has been delicious, and you should pay at least one visit to the bar.

Most fantastic accomodation! Super friendly and attentive owners&staff, room and pool with breathtaking views and privacy, delicious breakfast. My husband and I, we were verry happy with our choice and would definitely recommend and return!

My favorite hotel with a special traditional Santorini touch. The hotel service is really wonderful. Rooms are super clean and beautiful. The room also had a wonderful balcony which has incredible view. We enjoyed the sunset of Santorini from our balcony. The breakfast was served to our balcony. It was a wonderful vacation spend in this hotel.

The best views on the island, along with excellent service. Breakfast here was some of the best food we had on our entire trip to Santorini.

Santorini is heaven on Earth. Imerovigli is the best place in Santorini. Altana is the best place in Imerovigli. So...Altana = Heaven. The Altana crew, led by Chris & Mario, are amazingly hospitable with extreme attention to detail. My wife and I have been staying there for over a decade and it gets better every time. This last time, we wanted to stay 6 nights but there wasn't availability, so we stayed at another hotel for 2 nights. The difference was huge. The views from Altana are incomparable, especially the pool, at the highest point on the cliffs! The rooms are extremely clean and very well maintained and offer much privacy, off the main walking path. Try and get one with a private jacuzzi! Also, everyone there is so nice and helpful. There was communication and help offered every step along the way, from before we got there, to when we arrived with our luggage, and once we settled in, with personalized suggestions on what to do with customized maps and other information...and a glass of Vinsanto! Other places you're greeted with "No" signs of what you shouldn't do...or else! Altana and fam is all yeses. Whatever you need or want, they'll make it happen! Need an ATV? No problem. Need a reservation at a restaurant? They got you! Need ideas what to do in Heaven? They're your guidian angels! Another thing to consider is the food/drinks. Breakfast is extremely high quality and delicious, from the tomatoes they grow themselves at the family farm, or the perfect figs, or smoked pork, cheeses, yogurt...all amazing. We'd start the day there with that and a custom-made coffee and then end there with a glass of wine watching the sunset. Perfect. Everything. Always. ❤️??

This place is amazing Service is up to level Owners are friendly and will help you find the best places and restaurants Rooms are spectacular with the best view ever of the Caldera. We book the honey moon suite, fresh from renovation, and it is the best suite since is the highest one. I will definitely come back. It is not the cavo tagoo but honestly who cares when you have the best price best view and awesome service. Also the breakfast served at your terrace is delicious.

Truly excellent experience with customer oriented, non-tourist service at every interaction. It is boutique hotel with personalized service. Th staff (Christina, Marianna, and Michael) is friendly, very helpful and provide very good non-tourist suggestions for dining and island exploration. They went out of the way to make reservations and also to provide alternatives - this in fact made our vacation in Santorini pleasant. Every customer interaction from luggage pickup to breakfast service was pleasant. The owner of the hotel also stopped by for friendly conversation. Overall, the atmosphere at the hotel was extremely pleasant. The location of the hotel is perfect, we could comfortably watch sunset as well as sunrise from our room avoiding the crowd. Hotel being at highest elevation provided excellent views. Besides, it is walking distance to restaurants as well as Fira. The swimming pool is at the highest elevation and is a very good experience with scenic views -- not to miss! Highly recommend this hotel for visit to Santorini for its personalized friendly service, location, and amenities.
