Best Historical landmark in Greece

M	Ma Ti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ İt is the main square of Thessaloniki. Many smalls shops to buy souvenirs and also many coffee plcaes and restaurants around. You can try Athonos, a very small Street with many many traditional restaurants where you should try ouzo and meze. At the end of the square you will find the sea; don't forget to pay a visit at the photography museum at the Port.
J	Jacob LED on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is an amazingly preserved historical landmark where you have beautiful cafes, bars and restaurants around. And even if you are low budget and still want to enjoy the vibe of the city, nobody will stop you buying a couple of beer from the supermarket or a take away Frappé and just chill here around the Agora which is a great melting pot. I enjoyed the little jazz-blues street concert made by great people who just met randomly.

M	Marko Nikolic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a large two terraced forum. It was dug up by accident in the 1960s and started with restauraton in 1989. Inside the agora you will be able to visit the restored ancient amphitheater (Odeion) with its stands and scene, elements and parts of the Corinthian columns that used to form the imposive two-storey porticoes, and well-crafted mosaic floors.The forum complex also boasts two Roman baths, one of which has been excavated while the other is buried underneath the city. The entire complex was organised around a rectangular paved open area that was used as a meeting or gathering place. Although the initial complex was not built in Roman times, it was largely refurbished in the 2nd century. It is believed that the forum and the theater continued to be used until at least the 6th century.The ticket for entering the entire complex is for an adult about 3€ and for students and children's under 18 years is FREE.
P	Philip Stewart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large open space with ancient roman ruins and a park attached. We only passed through fairly quickly but it was great to see a bit more of Thessaloniki's history. The park was lovely too, there's a church set inside some beautiful gardens, fenced off when we went past but very nice to look at.
