We had a great time in Ansi! The rooms were very modern and clean. The view from the terrace was breathtaking! The hosts were extremely friendly and kind. There is a nice shortcut to the beach via stairs, which takes 3 min. Almyrida offers a variety of good restaurants with local food to fair prices. It was definitely worth it!

We loved our stay in Ansi apartments. It was so comfortable and clean with a beautiful balcony and only minutes from the beach. We were looked after so kindly by Eleni who speaks very good English and made us feel so welcome. Thank you, Eleni.

Modern, newly renovated apartments with everything we needed. The apartment we stayed was small, but had a fantastic large & comfortable bed, was kept very clean, and had a lovely balcony for breakfast with a view. We love snorkeling and if you do too, definitely stay here. Just go downstairs from the back you’d be seeing lots of fish, star fish, octopus jumping right off the rocks. Also the peaceful bay with shallow clear water was a major hit for my little girl. The hosts, Joseph and family, are very warm and helpful. We wish we could stay longer!

Positive: This place is simply amazing. We loved everything. The owner is kind and caring. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with a nice design and the balcony with a view of a sunset was a great bonus. Also, Almyrida is a perfect place for trips around the western Crete and there are really good restaurants..

Positive: We loved the fact that this place is so nice and quiet, you fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the sea and the wonderful view of it. The bed is of great quality and the appartment is really well taken care of. The hosts stayed up late to check us in. Everything you need is nearby. We really liked taverna Lagos, bakery Piperiakis, and the car rental from Flisvos was really good. We recommend renting a car and exploring the island, Chania, Sfakia, Ilingas beach, etc. Whenever we had a question we could email Joseph and there was a quick reply. Book this place - you wont regret it !!. Negative: The only thing we could possibly think of is that we thought the place was bigger, but it didnt matter because it is cosy and it has everything you need..

We were a group of 6 staying in 3 apartments. My wife and I stayed in a smaller apartment on the groundfloor with a great balcony and view of the sunset. Our friends stayed in the slightly larger apartments upstairs. All very clean and new furnishings. Hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful

Had to wait a lot before posting this and the truth is I still waver as I want this 'gem' to be a precious secret shared amongst only the few who have been fortunate enough to visit. Yet, all good efforts must be praised and this being such, I too must give in... To cut a long story short, this used to be kind of an old block of separate flats. Recently totally refurbished and located at the village's best spot with spectacular sunset views, this place constitutes a true shelter for those who want to escape the crowded seaside resorts of Northern Crete, whilst being only five minutes away (on foot) from the village center. I dont want to add a lot of details as there are plenty of photos you can see for yourself in most travelling websites and frankly I am trully afraid of what might happen if the owners change their current attitude which is a true advertisement of what Greek Hospitality is all about .. However I will never forget falling asleep at the sound of waves and waking up with the same sound, on a matress that probably resembles how sleeping on a cloud would feel like....
