★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very well organized museum, exhibiting a lot of interesting items of Ancient Nemea. Also the ancient stadium, very close to museum, is a place to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A video explains how the Nemea stadium played a crucial role to reconstruct the ancient mechanism greeks used to give a fair start to nemean games. Nicely conceived.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small museum but with so much interesting history. Strongly suggest to go with a guide, because there is no audio presentation

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most beautiful archaeological sites! Peaceful, beautiful nature, well preserved, away from the crowds! Perfect to get a good idea about sports in ancient Greece! Don't miss the stadium and the video at the museum about the ancient mechanism(" machine"),with which races started! It's the only sanctuary where every 4 years a revival of the ancient games takes place! My kids took part in 2016 and they will definitely take part in 2020! They loved it and they still remember and talk about it! They run barefoot, dressed in clean, ancient clothes. The start of the races and everything is exactly as it was done in the antiquity! Volunteers dressed as referees, slaves, etc. Everyone from5 - 90!!! years old can take part! You have to register some time in January-February next year!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Museum of Ancient Nemea !!! This is a well done medium sized museum with some captivating treasures and relics. They are well presented with good information and a treat to browse. Due to the combination of windows letting in natural light, the angles of the museum lighting and the glass in front of the artifacts, getting some good pictures here can prove a lil tricky, but it's always fun to try.
Also, this particular area is radiantly rich with many excellent archaeological sites that are just a short to medium drive away such as Ancient Corinth, Acrocorinth, Mycenae, Tiryns, Palamidi Fortress, Epidaurus, Heraion of Perachora, Temple of Isthmia and more.... Enjoy my friends :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ there is a small museum, the temple area and the stadium area
the museum is very nice. It has findings mostly from the mycenaean period. A lot of golden jewlleries. Sadly some of the rooms are very old and the exhibition needs to be renovated.
the temple is realy great. so is the stadium with its great tunnel. The location is great and it is very nice for a quiet walk.
very few tourists when visited (which is a shame as the place really deserves more attention)
6€ full ticket, 3€ redused, free for eu students and under 18n
