M	Marton Polos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing to see the birthplace of gymnasiums, universities, and the place where Aristotle did some of his great work. Also some impressive hydro engineering. I wish there was more to see! There is very helpful staff on site as well.

h	herm dig on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing much to see above ground here and you need a stretch of the imagination to visualise what it may have looked like from the information panels. I had the 30€ combination ticket so I wandered in with hardly anyone around. Even the ticket checker was off watering the garden. Still it's a quiet spot to stroll around and escape the crazy Athenian traffic.

Although the remains themselves are not as spectacular as the other sites, the story of the site is well narrated and one can imagine the development of physical and mental activities here. Also, many native plants have been placed around the site which adds to the atmosphere.

R	Ravneet Grewal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting but ruins are somewhat scarce, learned this is said to be the most important archaeological site in history. Entry is included if you buy the €30 combo pass, worth a visit and it wasn't very busy.

Walking through it and thinking about the great philosophers who frequented the place is very cool. I do wish that there was more signage devoted to explaining the actual archaeology of what we are seeing.

For us it was the last stop and quite frankly after visiting the Agora and the Acropolis, this really didn't have much more to offer. There's a small museum with information about the site if that's your thing, not the most complete but a good change of pace from all the ruins.
