★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice park to walk around when seeking shade from the hot sun. Could surely use more signage inside to give people an idea of their location and also have signs indicating where the toilets and exits are. Overall worth having a look at if you have an hour to spare.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very nice place for long walks... just in the heart of the city you can get the feeling that you are deep into the forest... you will also find here some animals too, a pound with ducks... and other birds.
A place you should visit if you are in Athens!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely park in the centre of Athens! Orange trees all over the show. I recommend taking a nice route from the parliament to the temple of Zeus! Change of scenery and a nice time to reflect on your travels

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really nice and big park in the middle of Athens. With benches and places to just take a time out from the big city. There is also a little Zoo with some animals to watch. If the sun is shining and you need a break definitely worth a stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the most expansive botanical gardens, but a nice place to take a shady stroll and escape the noise and heat of the city. Watch for adorable tortoises roaming the area! Cafe in the center is very picturesque, under a tunneling grape trellis.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The formerly King's Garden is now transformed into the National Gardens and this Botanical Museum is like a tropical garden in the middle of the park. This museum has much from a zoo with lots of animals, a central lake, lawns, flowers beds, a playground for kids and the necessary sanitary services. Nice !
