Η Οικία I χτίστηκε στις αρχές του 4ου αι. π.Χ. Αρχικά αποτελείτο στο βόρειο τμήμα της από αίθουσες υποδοχής (a-b-e) και στο νότιο από ιδιωτικά δωμάτια (o-p-q). Τα δύο αυτά μέρη ήταν ενωμένα με μία αυλή τριγωνικού σχήματος.
Κατά τη διάρκεια του 2ου αι. π.Χ. έγιναν μεγάλες μετατροπές, ενώ ορισμένοι παλαιοί τοίχοι παρέμειναν σε χρήση. Αποτέλεσμα αυτών των μετατροπών ήταν η διαμόρφωση της Οικίας Ι σε δύο ξεχωριστές οικίες (Οικία ΙΑ και Οικία IB) με περίστυλη ανεξάρτητη αυλή. Γύρω από τις αυλές (e/r) βρίσκονταν αίθουσες συμποσίου (a/v), αίθουσες υποδοχής (d-h-b / o-p-q), μαγειρεία και λουτρά (m-1 / u-A, με πήλινο λουτήρα) καθώς και άλλα βοηθητικά δωμάτια.
Κάτω από τα θεμέλια της Οικίας Ι είναι ορατοί οι τοίχοι παλαιότερων οικοδομημάτων της αρχαϊκής εποχής (7ος και 6ος αι. π.Χ.). Ιδιαίτερα ενδιαφέρουσα είναι η τριγωνική κατασκευή, η οποία είχε χτιστεί με μεγάλους λιθόπλινθους και σήμερα βρίσκεται κάτω από το δωμάτιο a. Αυτή η κατασκευή οριοθετεί ένα νεκροταφείο (Ηρώον) της γεωμετρικής περιόδου (ύστερος 8ος αι. π.Χ.). Η τέφρα των νεκρών είχε τοποθετηθεί σε μεγάλους χάλκινους λέβητες, οι οποίοι εκτίθενται στο Μουσείο
 House I.
House I was built at the beginning of the 4th c. e.g. It originally consisted of reception rooms (a-b-e) in the north and private rooms in the south (o-p-q). These two parts were joined by a triangular courtyard.
During the 2nd c. e.g. major alterations were made, while some old walls remained in use. The result of these transformations was the configuration of House I in two separate houses (House IA and House IB) with a peristyle independent courtyard. Around the courtyards (e / r) were banquet halls (a / v), reception rooms (d-h-b / o-p-q), kitchens and baths (m-1 / u-A, with clay bath) as well as other ancillary rooms.
Under the foundations of House I are visible the walls of older buildings of the archaic era (7th and 6th centuries BC). Particularly interesting is the triangular structure, which was built with large bricks and today is located under room a. This construction delimits a cemetery (Hero) of the geometric period (late 8th century BC). The ashes of the dead were placed in large copper boilers, which are exhibited in the Museum
