The owner is very rude and unfriendly, definitely kills the vibe. Even asks you where you are from and "if you got money". Do yourself a favor and just ignore him

This place should be forced to close !! - Yannis is rude, insulting and very aggressive. Litteraly yelled at us and I had to stand up and dare him to touch me to make him stop !! - Mojitos aren't much better. Barely any alcohol in it. The kitchen is disgusting, and he throws his trashes on the beach. SHAMEFUL - If you do not take an umbrella on the beach, he calls you cheap and say that you don't spend enough for his business so you need to leave now. Basically he think he owns the beach..! Worst place ever, DO NOT GIVE HIME ANY MONEY The beach is nice and would be better of without him.

This Yannis chap is so very rude and unfriendly. Avoid andnot the best mojito. Super expensive yes. Not going back there. Red Beach on the other hand is a gem.

The guy is really not as bad as everyone is saying. But he is incredibly slow. Even by Greek standards:p and it’s not cheap! However, the location is fabulous! And once you get your drink, (the guy is spending 5 min on each drink, making only one at the time, so it takes quite a while) the mojito is decent, albeit somewhat different.

Very nice beach, definitely worth to see but because of the bar there’s so so much mess, old umbrellas on the side making bad look, people working in bar are rude to customers and act like they own the beach. I was told off to not come in when I wanted to look around. 8 euros for umbrellas.

This man is not to be confused with the guy renting out umbrellas. They have a separate business. Yannis himself makes all the mojitos by hand so it takes a while but definitely worth it. They’re quite strong as well which is not bad at all but keep in mind, you still have a rocky walk ahead to get back to Matala. Also a great place to check the sunset.

Yannis is very polite and runs this business on his own. He's a very gentle guy and he even paid our order at the end lol. The Mojito is the best I've ever had and the rum is pretty damn strong so remember that you have a rocky way up if you consider drinking it.

Amazing place and very very good mojito. Yannis is like an old pirate, he makes good strong mojitos so do not expect to treat you as a "princess" once there :)
