H	Heather Raposa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must see, though you really can't miss it if you go in via the main entrance, back entrance it is a walk uphill. Recommend if you are not a historian in Ancient Civilizations with minor in Greek Civ. a guided tour or at the very least an audio guide so you get history and a great story! Lots of walking this site. This is part of the Acropolis Complex many sites to see in here with the myths to go along.

J	Jonas Mydland on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty neat, only downside was some random tour guide screaming at the top of her lungs. Glad i didn't pay to be part of that. Even if i wanted to all I needed was to listed to it. Everyone could hear her for free.
J	Jesús D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The last monument you see (and actually walk through) in your visit to Athen's Acropolis is the so-called Beulé Gate in honor of the archaeologist E. Beulé who re-discovered it in 1852. The gate and its flanking rectangular towers are part of a 3rd century AD fortification system. Reused architectonic elements were utilized in the building of the gate. Among those elements are inscribed slabs from the dismantled Choregic Monument of Nikias that since 319 BC graced the southern slope of the Acropolis. You can see easily see one of these Greek inscribed slabs above the exterior (West) door's lintel.

R	Ryan Gurney on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A simple fortification of the Acropolis with the ancient statues just on the inside. Not as inspiring as the Parthenon or the other parts of the Acropolis but still an important part of the history of the site.
