★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never stayed on the camp site but have been a regular customer at the on site restaurant for many years.
The cooking is exquisite - and traditional enough (to my palate which has done extensive research into Cretan cuisine!) to earn Babis the nickname "Mama" from me (rather fitting since he looks 7 1/2 months pregnant and learned his trade from his Mama!) Front of house is looked after by his wife Nektaria (apologies if I've spelled it wrong) who dispenses the dishes as fast as Babis can get them out of the kitchen, her vitamins (delicious home produced tsikoudia [Raki]) and eventually bills!
Unfortunately we probably won't have time to eat there this September (2013) since we're staying in Chania for the whole holiday (although we need to visit AG to see Babis's cousin to deliver a gift) but I look forward to many more meals there in years to come!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taverna Kipos is one of those tavernas where the locals go to have a splendid meal and a good time. At the same time it is cosy inviting and internationally oriented.
Babis is running the kitchen and performing his magic and Nektaria his elfish wife is dancing among the tables and serving dishes with a joke and friendly word for everybody.
Apart from being top notch the food is very affordable indeed.
Everything here is about hospitality and quality, do not miss Kipos if you are visiting Agia Galini!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed our stay a lot.We are Athenians. Great shades, great food, big variety of menues and not expensive. The camping is very clean as well as the pool.
Nektaria is very kind and very helpful.We wish we had more vacation days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good, nothing to report. I stayed 2 nights and we had good time. They helped us with electricity cable extender cause I was not able to connect to the plug. The kitchens/toilets/pool are clean.
