Your own apartment, your terrace, morning sunshine, privacy, sounds of a village waking up.. You can have both privacy (in the residencial area) and fun times with other people (by the pool & restaurant). Ask if your terrace has morning sun or afternoon, ask if it faces the sea or the petit garden, ask. The apartment is simple and beautiful in its own southern way, kitchen equipped with everything simple and necessary. I brought my own coffee maker and the coffee (for Day1 :) ) I have stayed for 2weeks, completely ignoring the Crete Island, the terrace and Ageos Nikolaos was enough for vitamin D intake. The small shop in the village helps with urgent cravings, nearest real supermarket in 15min walk town direction, nearest taverna 10min walk. The town itself is really in walking distance, you walk along the driveway (not for kids walk, not for night walk.. 30min) The SPA, go for the antique massage, and book it with Faih. She is good!! Fitness room, yoga, village taverna, and the SPA are opening early May (nothing is there yet in April2022).. renovated, fresh and just as you need it. P.S. If you seek privacy and silence, cleaning ladies might be an issue. They come as an avalanche as loud as it could be, every day, and you never know what time that happens, they are everywhere and they are part of the deal. (They knock the door the instant they are in.. but you hear them even when next door).

Family of 3, 1 young daughter who was 9. If I could give this hotel 6 stars I would. Fantastic location and facilities. We had a serenity room that easily has the best view I've ever stayed in, and I've been very lucky to do a lot of travelling, looking over the stunning Mirrabello bay. Rooms were spacious, which you don't always get in Greece, each building only ground and first floor, cleaned every day. All 3 pools were large with 2 separate kids pool for babies and children, then a very large pool for families and older ones to swim that at points is almost 2.5 meters deep. 2 private beaches, 1 sandy with water sports and dive school, we tried both. The other beach area is split into 2 parts, wooden decking levels built into the rocks by the sea. Lots of ladders that you can climb directly into the sea for a swim, which we did many many times. This area of the hotel is beautiful and looks like something you would see in a 5 star hotel in the Amalfie Coast. Pool bar is great, the staff never ever stop, great selection of beers, wines and cocktails. The pool bar food is of very good quality, also fresh oven pizzas available. Again the view is amaizng. There is an onsite Greek taverna that does very good standard authentic food, again amazing view, which I was perplexed wasn't busier whilst I was there as the food was great. The main buffett area for breakfast and dinner is very good, although as this hotel is geared towards familes it is a little busy and noisy at times, that said there are always places to sit and I noticed couples and families with older children eating round the side tables or round the back of the restaurant where there are more seats. We did have half board, and ate in the restaurant one night. Whilst there is nothing wrong with the food it is good solid Greek offering, it wasn't for us as there are so many quality restaurants in the nearby town of Agios Nikolas (less than 10 minutes in a taxi or 30 minutes walk, get the taxi!) and also the lovelly fishing village of Elounda, just over 10 minutes in a taxi. The buffett in my opinion suits familes with younger children who want to stay in the hotel. The bar at night can be very quiet that likley suits familes with babies, although I do wish they would make more of the bar, maybe some light music, drinks offers etc, which means we may have stayed for a drink before went out or when we came back from a restaurant. We did spend a pleasant night at the bar playing cards which was nice. We did have breakfast in the hotel in the morning, good standard continental and hot food, fresh omelettes, bacon, pancakes etc. Hotel was a mix of British and German. I would also say that there was a mix of ages from familes with babies, young ones, teenagers and some couples. I was there in UK half term, so likely more children. My daughter is 9 and met loads of friends straight away. Reception staff will do anything for you, and helped on many occasions with restaurants, maps, tips and also helped us on the last day with room extension and showers, as we were flying home very late. In summary would 110% return to this hotel, we don't often go back to places as we like to roam, but will be returning here very soon.

So everything at this park has been decent thus far apart from today. Ive eaten the same dish at this tavern from the hotel for a week now. The yemista. The rice today was undercooked (I had my partner also taste it to make sure)and I asked to have it redone. No big deal it happens. However the chef said no it wasn't undercooked and refused to make the dish for me again. I left hungry and upset. It was truly an awful end to my day. For the rest everything was fine apart from the beds being too soft and then too hard after they removed the mattress topper. Thus far everyone else been nice and helpful. Beautiful park well maintained.

Fantastic family hotel. Staff were all helpful, food was good, rooms were perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of space around pool or beach to spread out.

I think we have been 7 times before at least and each time improvements have been made. We have never been disappointed. The staff are exceptional. They are so professional but friendly at the same time. Today I enjoyed a lovely pedicure from Vicky at the spa. They have beautiful products with delicate, natural ingredients from here on the island. We have not used the childrens' playground so far but next time we will come with our young grandchildren. All the facilities are top notch.

Family friendly resort with comfy rooms. The kitchen was a little basic and the bed a little too soft for me, but the facilities were excellent. The resorts beach is easy accessible right next to their own pools. The sea was a little dirty at the time though, quite some plastic which should be cleaned! There is also a pretty complete gym available to keep your gains, even though it didn't say so on their website. I've added photos Overal great stay!

Candia park is a fantastic resort in Greece. I’ve been here with my husband before 2 times and now I’ve come back with my 1 year old son which has been a fantastic stay! This is my favourite place here and I enjoy it so much I’ll be coming back!! The staff are brilliant & friendly and always happy to help! All in all fantastic through out everything. Clean, fresh rooms no issues at all. I can only give 5 stars but if I could do more I would as this place is just amazing!!!!
