The accommodation is clean and pleasant and Stavros (owner)and his son George really make you feel at home. 2 minutes of conversation with them and you will feel relaxed and ready to join the Crete life. They are also a fountain of knowledge regarding activities and restaurants in the area. Every place they recommend was exactly what we wanted. Thanks again!

Surprisingly, the apartment was way bigger than expected, and it had a kitchenette, 2 single beds, 2 sofas and a little balcony with a bistrot table, chairs and a sea view. It also had a fan and AC. We were delighted with the apartment, but what really made the difference was the service and kindness of the owners. George and his father Stavros were extremely kind and helpful. Great value and fabulous location!

Stavros welcomed and treated us like family. He is an amazing, knowledgeable, and caring host. He provided great recommendations for getting the best out of each amazing day. Thank you.

Negative: Shower had little water pressure - showering was very inconvenient Airconditiner too small for a split level top floor apartment that got heated up during the day. It had to be kept on at maximum strength the whole day so the upper level floor wouldn't be too hot at night. Staff switched off the Airconditiner when I wasn't in my room. The room would take too long to cool down leaving me sleep deprived. Doesn't deserve a 9 rating at all..
W	Waldemar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Casa Veneta is in an excellent location in the old town. Our room was spacious and had a balcony from which we could see the sea at the end of the street. There are two markets and a bakery nearby so obtaining some basic provisions was easy. Numerous restaurants are also close. The owner, Stavros, was very friendly and helpful and gave us some good advice about things to do. He even lent us some walking poles for our hike in the Samaria Gorge. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and strongly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Chania..

Location was excellent for: access from airport (we got the bus and it was then a five min walk), exploring chania (old town, Jewish quarter, walkable to a very nice beach) and Stavros was a very helpful host assisting us with r recommendations and a taxi booking to our next location. We didn't have a car but the pedestrianized area the hotel is in ends very close by for easy car / luggage drop off and pickup.

A stone's throw away to beautiful restaurants, cafes, bars and various arts and crafts workshops. 10/15 minute walk to Chania beach. Wonderful owner who will help you with anything you want to know regarding places to eat, things to do and anything to do with your room. Basic room but perfect for those who are there to explore and enjoy the wonders of Chania, knowing you have a perfectly clean, safe and harmonious environment to return to in the evening. We were in room 9 which had a wonderful terrace balcony, right next to the city wall with a sea view. The room was spotlessly clean, so credit to the housekeeping team too. Value for money is 10/10, you certainly get what you pay for at Casa Veneta. If we ever return to Chania, it will be to here. Thank you!
E	Eve Graham on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our plane arrived just before midnight and the owners arranged for us to have access to hotel. Stavros was welcoming & helpful throughout our stay. The accommodation was incredibly clean and looks freshly painted. We had apartment 9 which was on the top floor (3rd or 4th) with a large balcony. The balcony afforded fantastic partial sea views and had plenty of sun. We had a fridge, towels, hob, sofa, double bed, patio furniture, crockery. The shower works well with hot water but you need to turn it to cold for hot and visa-versa. The location meant we had access on foot to the port, several small beaches, superb food, nightlife and museums. Book directly for better offers. We hope to return and we recommend.
