Santorini Paradise Cave Houses - Oia

Maria is an excellent host! She provided my two friends and I with amazing accommodations, helpful tips for the island, and great customer service. The location of her property is amazing! We had a beautiful view of the caldera with super easy access to the main road. The thing that stood out the most to me was how helpful and connected Maria is with the Island. Maria reached out after we booked with her, checked in before we arrived, and checked in during our stay. Giannis was able to help us with our bags and showed us how to get around the island. Melina provided us with great dinner and entertainment recommendations. The great customer service and location of Maria’s property really made our stay easy and enjoyable! We will definitely book with Maria the next time we make our way to Oia.

Authentic Oia! If you want to live amongst the beautiful cave houses that everyone else is trying to capture the beauty by camera, you should stay here. It’s a beautiful and authentic cave house perched on the cliffs of the Caldera with bountiful ocean views. A bonus is soaking in the views while literally soaking in the hot tub… you can’t replicate this experience elsewhere. What else? It’s a cave house, it has lower ceilings, it’s meant to be dark when the door is closed, it has minimal privacy from people, neighbors or sun when outside… but that’s okay if you’re looking for authentic Santorini… if you want a hotel then this is not that… though there are plenty nearby. The best, is Maria and her team. If you have questions or need recommendations, you’ll be taken care of. Take her up on the private transfer from the Port or Airport, it’s so nice to have that taken care of, then to be greeted by her staff to being your bags down many stairs to the hidden gem of a cave house.

We were thrilled with our stay on Santorini. Maria was a truly amazing, caring, kind host who helped us with everything we could have asked for. We had various questions and she was always responsive and really helpful. Our room itself was fantastic. The view from the roof deck was truly unmatched, there were crowds of people trying their best to watch the sunset in Oia, and we felt so fortunate that we truly had what must have been the absolute best view with no crowd at all, just an unobstructed, gorgeous view of the amazing sunsets. It was an unforgettable experience.

Incredible cave houses. Me and my boyfriend stayed in two of them during our week in Santorini and the localisation in Oia couldn’t be more perfect. On top of the place itself, Maria the owner and manager is the sweetest. She helped us in every possible way, I had never experienced such dedication to make us comfortable before! These houses are spectacular, incredibly well located in Oia, well equipped, comfortable, everything you could hope for, and of course a view to die for. We were lucky to stay in two of them and they are all uniquely different and lovely to stay in. Maria is an incredible host and will help ensure that your stay in Santorini is unforgettable. The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at! Living in the Paradise Cave House was a magical experience! The house and the jacuzzi were amazing and the view from the house was simply breathtaking!!! Moreover, the location was the best because it was right in the middle of everything! This cave home is so cute and comfortable. Even cuter is Maria the hostess/owner. She greeted us at the parking lot and walked us back to the villa, all while telling us the little secret places to visit in Santorini. She even called the car rental place and had a rental car dropped off to us the next day. She explained everything from how the water heater works (we stayed in Athens for two day and never knew how it worked #brrr#showers) Maria had this villa stocked from coffee to yogurts, to meats and cheeses, wine for her guests, radio for music, canopy bed and a cool little cellar like room that drops 2.5 meters down in the ground, pretty cool. She put up a “LOVE” balloon at our patio table for us to watch the sun set. FYI We are not newly weds or anything, she is a romantic at heart and very sweet. The cave home was magnificently decorated by her very own pieces of art. Plenty of space for up 5 people, 2 full size beds, and two sofas that could be slept on. We highly recommend this place for families or couples. It is by far one of the best villas to see the famous sun sets and it has amazing views.

If you are looking for an ideal getaway this is your place! Maria is a wonderful host from beginning to end. We arrived and she was more than gracious with meeting us and explaining the area. She also stocked a few items in the refrigerator for us that turned out to be very useful. You cannot go wrong with this stay. The views are amazing and the house is lovely!
