Sophia Castle View - Oia Castle

Ok so we have some serious mixed feelings on this place there were reasons I could say it's a 1 star and reasons I could say 4 star...so I was nice and went 3 stars. The room itself was super cute and comfortable and had a great view of the sunset. If you stay here be prepared random people will break into your patio and believe they should be able to watch the sunset with you even though it's your room that you paid for. This happened every night and was not fun to deal with. The breakfast was one of the worst we had ever had and for the money we were paying I expected it to atleast be an average quality breakfast, but it was inedible and showed up late. The only thing that was good about breakfast was the fruit and that was because all they had to do was cut it, oddly enough it wasn't cut evenly either...as a chef myself I would never serve that to anyone and I question their chef for letting this be served to us. So...beautiful room and location but not worth the hassle or money. It's a real shame because it could be great.

It’s a perfect room in the best spot in Oia. It’s beautifully designed and clean, The views from the room are amazing and the host was very nice and friendly

The view was literally the best on the whole island. The "Caldera view" suite allows you views of both sides of the island from your porch. Enabling you to see sunset AND sunrise without even leaving your room. The room is a little spartan but beautiful inside and out. Can't recommend it enough especially in the winter when there are hardly any tourists.
