L	Les Wilson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Castrello Old Town Hospitality is ideally located in Ioannina Old Town within the Ioannina Castle Walls and is very convenient to all of the points of interest associated with the Castle of Ioannina, such as the Byzantine Museum, the Fethiye Mosque, and the Silversmithing Museum, as well as to the plentiful coffee shops and restaurants along the lake waterfront adjacent to the castle walls, and to those of Kallari and Lord Byron Streets. The rooms are very modern and well fitted-out, and are extremely clean and exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast room is also exceptional, as indeed is the breakfast provided. George and Marios are great hosts being not just very friendly and helpful, but also ready to go out of their way to provide any assistance one may require or just to provide that little extra bit of hospitality. I have no hesitation in saying that Castrello Old Town Hospitality is exceptional in every way!

At a walking distance to the cafés and restaurants so it isn’t necessary to use the car. Beautiful architecture, each room is unique. Very cosy, extremely clean, very new. You will enjoy the breakfast, tasty traditional pies, home made. The hospitality of the owners is exceptional, they are very friendly and helpful. DEFINITELY recommend Castrello as a MUST stay, this will take your visit to Ioannina to a higher level. I will be back for sure.

Even though they have only just opened the hotel in January 2022, fluent English speakers, Giorgos and Marios run the place as though they have been operating for 20 years, with great recommendations and offering beautiful homemade baked goods.

The location is ideal for walks in the old town and close to all the bars and restaurants in the new part of Ioánnina. Very friendly owners! Happy to come back one day!

Its location is ideal as it lies within the walls of the castle, 3 minutes from ITS KALE and as soon as you leave the walls, you have the lake and all the restaurants/cafes within walking distance. The place is brand new, the rooms are very spacious, modern, with a great aesthetic, spotlessly clean and the perfect place to start and end your day. The brothers Marios and George, the owners of the place are definitely part of the value of the accommodation. They are gracious, eager at all times to provide information, service and show you how they are excellent hosts! They have built it with personal work and this is visible in every inch of Castrello. Breakfast is part of their wonderful hospitality, with handmade pies, creams and other goodies from the owners' mother with carefully selected ingredients and products in everything they offer. A suggestion for improvement would be to enrich the breakfast with more hot dishes. We had an unforgettable time and promised to return again.

Genuine warm hospitality which makes a big difference, attention to detail (excellent mattress, toiletries, breakfast with homemade local delicacies, spotlessly clean). Strongly recommended!
