★ ★ ★ ★ ★ amazing !! I recommend it to you unreservedly. Very clean rooms with Jacuzzi !! Morning breakfast, with local Cretan products ...
Αlso, the hotel is located in the center, something that helps with the transportation as well as the evening walks to the center.
I will surely visit again !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our 8-night stay at Cressa Corona was absolutely perfect in every way! The room, the roof terrace, the food, the staff... Not only was Rethymno wonderful, the Cressa Corona hotel and team truly made our trip perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed every restaurant the Cressa Corona team recommended and the recommendations (and bus schedules) for local day trips and beaches were perfect. Without a doubt, we highly, highly recommend Cressa Corona for a perfect getaway -- and we are already telling all our friends and family, and looking for an opportunity to return ourselves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were surprised to have such a clean and modern room with a great breakfast included in the rate! Also the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! We would always come back on our next trip to Crete!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely room, it was clean, comfy and super cute! Friendly and helpful staff, and the breakfast was delicious with something for everyone.
However, two negatives were no complimentary bottled water other than on arrival day and no beach towels. Most places will restock you with 2 small bottles but this place cost. So to brew a compliment in room tea or coffee...you had to buy the water. Found that annoying for the price of room vs cost of water from market.
We did a beach excursion but had no towels, really didn’t want to pay 10$ Cdn for a towel we couldn’t fit to bring home, but were told no when asked to use room towel. That aside, super cute place.
NO PARKING and NO ELEVATOR. wasn’t an issue for us, but if we were older, etc, could have been a bit distressing. They should make those points clear on booking.
All in all, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing on so many levels.
Reception is only staffed in the morning.
Cressa Suites looks not like the pictures IRL.
The rooftop terrace with bar service has neither the pretty seating area nor a bar service. Not to mention that there is hardly a view nor a vibe.
The King jacuzzi suite is cave like with mold around the tub. I have stayed in better 2 star hotels were at least you know there is no staff in attendance full time.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith amenity was ‘changed’ to a half bottle of wine and two patties rather than the advertised Cretan Mezze platter with two craft cocktails. Better stay somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a three night stay at Cressa and unfortunately wouldn’t recommend it. I don’t often do pros and cons list, but I think it is the most effective here.
+ great location in the heart of old town, but not on a too busy street
+ great modern decor and amenities
+\- rooftop is nice for hanging out but you need to bring your own drinks and the chairs are quite uncomfortable
However, we were really disappointed in the following fronts:
- the room was really small. There might be other larger rooms in the hotel, but in ours we could barely fit our suit cases anywhere. Small rooms are to be expected in the old town but it could have been improved with better design choices.
- the hotel is super noisy. You will hear every single sound from reception, other rooms, stair case and even the street outside. We were woken up by the noise from reception every morning at 8AM. We stayed in a 2nd floor room.
- the breakfast basket wasn’t to our liking. It was generous enough but doesn’t give you much options if you don’t like what’s on offer, and it has very little protein rich items. Breakfast is one of the highlights of any hotel stay to me, but here we actually just considered going elsewhere for breakfast despite it being included in the room price.
- the bed is dreadfully hard, both of us had really sore backs after the three nights stay.
PS since the hotel decided to discredit my review do note we stayed in this exact hotel and our reservation is under my fiancé’s name.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breakfast is delicious and delivered in a basket if you choose to eat in the room. The bathtub is perfect for two. Located in the heart of the old city, surrounded by the older-fashioned architecture.
Hara at the reception and the rest of the staff have been extremely nice with us.
Perfect destination throughout all four seasons, top floor terrace is the perfect place to enjoy your drink.
Will recommend and visit again in the future, if we decide to spend some nights in Rethymnon.
