B	Belma Beganovic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the place you have to visit if you want to join good food, a nice ambiente and absolutely friendly staff. The restaurant is placed in the most beautiful area and street in rethymno, and the stuff is even going to take pictures of you if you want so. Here you can join rare greek food like wild goat or amazing different fresh fish and seafood. Beside a lot of viariety of wine you should try the ginger lemonade for sure.

We were lucky enough to discover old, autochthonous and new grape varieties and wines at a wine tasting with an accompanying menu. A great experience and highly recommended! Many thanks to the wonderful hosts!
J	John Stammers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our brilliant waiter Cris guided us through a fabulous dinner at Veneto. The food was delicious and the setting was beautiful. We sat in the pretty courtyard, surrounded by hanging plants and a mini fountain. Cris was super helpful, talking us through the food menu and vegetarian options for my girlfriend. He also had expert knowledge of the wines on offer, and helped us pick something that suited our taste, having found other Greek wines too sweet. After dinner we cheers'd a glass of wine as Cris gave us insider tips on other food/drink spots in the town, and for our upcoming day trip to Preveli beach.
B	Bedi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the hotel is superbly located. in the middle of the old town - starting out you are in the middle of restaurants, shops. generally close to everywhere. However, it is worth paying attention to a few quite important things: the breakfasts are really poor. Little choice and hard to eat because ... no one replenishes the gaps. You have to knock on the kitchen for someone to come out and add meats, coffee or juice. both we and the other guests were very irritated. tables are cleared after breakfast is finished. scrambled eggs and bacon always cold. one day we were at 9:35 and there is nothing to eat anymore. 2. a beautiful room in a stone with photos - the road to it leads through restaurants and tables with guests who sit near your door until at least midnight. except that there is no internet or telephone coverage there. The third way to the other rooms is different - however, they are also above the restaurant and the tables of guests. 4. no hand soap in the rooms - I have no idea why. The 5th shower cubicle in our room was dirty. 6. to sum up the hotel itself is beautiful and atmospheric, but a bit overstated overall

For a four star hotel, the room was not cleaned (dust under the bed), no free water bottles, problems with air conditioning, no top ups of toiletries, bed sheets not changed in three nights. There was no one checking who is walking in the building into the rooms. Anyone could go inside. There was no key for the safe. The wifi was terrible. We had dinner in the restaurant. The service was really slow (1 hour wait for the starter) and the food nothing special for the price. Also it was the only restaurant that did not offer any free dessert or liquor. I would not recommend this hotel. You will paying extra for the building more than anything. You are better going somewhere else. Not worth the money!
G	Grishma Patel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a BEAUTIFUL HOTEL. And the restaurant is a MUST TRY even when not staying at the hotel. (Vegetarian friendly!) Hotel review - the staff was very lovely. Rooms were spacious & clean. Parking lots located about 2 minute walk on the Main Street which was convenient. Restaurant review - delicious food, good portions!

It’s perfect for couples, more restaurant like then the bustle of the tavernas which open out into the alleys. The goat dish and the moussaka were excellent. Also, the waiter was very good and recommended a cheaper wine than the one we originally ordered- always a plus!
