★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've only tried the lemonade at the cafe so I can't speak to the stay, but the drink was refreshing and delicious. It was sparkling lemondade so that was a pleasant surprise. The customer service was great as well, which is what drew us in in the first place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was a very bad smell throughout the property. Our bathroom window opened out into the hallway, no privacy or ventilation. It was also quite noisy inside the hotel (although the hotel itself is situated in a quiet part of town).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is amazing!! It is decorated with taste. It has lots of charm and a romantic vibe. The room was clean and quite. Very well located with a place to park the car nearby. And Kostas was such an amazing host! He gave us lots of tips to visit all Crete!! 100% recomendable!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the best welcome experience at the check in due to lack of information given to us. The cleaner switch off the air con so when you are back in the room is boiling. When asked they said this is how they do. More of an house guest experience than an hotel service. The place is nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely stay in Archontiko! It’s in the city of Rethymno very close to sightseeing spots. Very helpful and welcoming staff. From the moment we arrived till we left we enjoyed their hospitality! Very clean, organized and beautiful rooms. Apart from excellent host Alyona is very knowledgeable of the area so we got very pleased with all the tips she gave us for our overall trip to Crete island. I would highly recommend it and would definitely go there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great experience here. The host was extremely pleasant and the service was nothing short of incredible. There is a beautiful rooftop area that has a perfect view of the sunset. The location was directly next to a bunch of spots for shopping and food.
Will definitely come here next time I am in Crete.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location but the hotel was average and noise easily heard from other rooms/the lobby. A slightly odd smell in the lobby. Lovely roof terrace with views of the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic stay in the old town. Easy to find, friendly staff. Bathroom are a little bit small and if you get the rooms at the top near the rooftop it is a bit noisy when people use the ladder. Rooms are cosy and well decorated.
