Overall great holiday for the price. Fantastic facilities & activities. The variety of drinks on offer was really good. Only downsides were that whilst the food was good, the afternoon and evening meals got really repetitive and the rooms were really outdated.

Great hotel, especially the animation staff who made us feel so welcome and put on great activities and entertainment in the evening. Food was spot on with a good variety of food to choose from and on Thursday evenings they had cocktails on arrival. Would highly recommend the Japanese restaurant which you must book but is included in cost. Its open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The only thing that does need updating is the rooms, quite small and have served their time but we were told the hotel closes in 2 weeks to update rooms etc ready for next season. Great for the kids and focuses more on families although there is a night club which stays open until 1am. Like any country you visit now you have to pay €3 per night on your departure so make sure you don't forget about it. They call it accommodation tax I believe and its a government thing.

Lovely place, very friendly staff, good choice of food and drinks. Shop very expensive and rooms very small.

This was our first get away as a family and we couldn't find anything better. So, we start with food: what can I say, just amazing, everything has a specific taste , even the humble pizza is different but in a good way, . We had 3 main meals and 2 snack between them. Absolutely everything regarding food was spot on, I can even go as far as saying that tastes like home made not 4 star quality which is, in my opinion, a very pleasant surprise, it just adds value to the hotel. Location: brilliant location, the only down side would be that is located in a small village so no many things to explore but the TUi is amazing at organising tours and whatever we needed , also, try to use the local bus to go into Chania city, is definitely a must. Georgios, our TUI representative was there. He is the best representative we have ever seen, always there, very informative and very sociable. Thank you Georgios for taking care of us. Service: well, regarding service we never felt like guests, we felt part of a big family. I would like to thank Effi in particular, she is just as amazing as her colleagues. They are going beyond service, they are just part of your group...or you are a part of theirs This is my first long review, I don't like to write reviews, particularly this long but what TUI did for us and Princess hotel especially deserves all the praises. Thank you very much to all of you!

Coming to this hotel soon and have taken in all previous reviews. We have long experience of TUI and the excellent service they provide. They are faced with many challenges they face the moment and we appreciate they are doing what they can to be transparent. All we ask is they are straight with us and allow us to experience all the good things that these great people have shared us with their experiences. Keep us updated TUI - you owe it to us.

If you like to feel like being scammed then this is the place to choose as I was paying all inclusive thru Jet2. You will be taxed at the end of your trip for a tourist tax(21E a week) and will get to pay 2E each time you open the door for the place where you leave the luggage and so on. You have to leave the room at 11:00 or pay 41euro to keep the room till 15:00. We had our flight back at 21:00. Were nice things as well, but the disappointment from the end of vacation will remain. Other to mention: There are apples, oranges cut in 4 with the peal on, bananas and yellow melon only as fruits. The day/evening entertainment is poor and no activities for anyone excepting the pool where kids where happy in it. Nothing for adults to do at all. The beach is totally impractical as has big stones and can’t walk on without shoes. If you walk in the pool and around without having rubber socks you will get wounds to the fingers as majority of us got till we figure out what’s happening. Regular socks are resisting only for couple of hours till get holes in it and wounds that are painful specially for kids. Air conditioning is not strong enough to cool the room enough and is just beginning of June. You are not supposed to leave it on while you are out of the room. Food is enough as quantities for everyone one but repeatable after 2-3 days. Deserts and about 4-5 kinds roughly. Drinks are pepsi type and 2 local juices from the few devices around the pool. One type of beer and 2 types of wines from the devices as well are available around the pool. Are couple of bars where are prepared cocktails as in the image. My plan for next vacation is Spain.

Look the rooms do look alot bigger but they are the same. We booked 11 nights just got back, all different age groups and had a lovely time. Food was good plenty of choice available. Pools were great and the team have lots of things throughout the day for men and women. Kids entertainment was good. Staff are all friendly. Only 1 down side a fight kicked off between two ladies in front of my little one which really shook him up. If your after a big sleeping area then maybe not for you ( Although there is a double bed) but if you go out the room on holiday then it's a great place to go to. Buses are stupidly cheap to the harbour towns and chania is a nice town to chill for a day.

The rooms are not as advertised and we'll below what you'd expect from a 4 star, 3 star just about but having upgraded to the best room available, the room presented upon our arrival was not what we'd paid for, subsequently moved but again not the standard advertised or pictured in the brochure. Tui staff lovely but hotel staff not that helpful, when presenting the fact the toilet in the room or the extractor fan didn't work they appeared less than bothered. On the positive the food was generally good but somewhat lacking in the vegetarian department and the pools were only bettered by the seas surrounding the artic......As a form of update I'm still on resort after 8 days and the ambient air temperature has risen quite substantially which is nice, what's not so nice is the hotel have determined that the air-conditioning within the room will only be operational after the 15th of June, and as its the 18th May as I write this we're not in luck and thus extremely hot nights are now thwarting sleeping. Not wanting to be overly critical and give a rounded holistic view, the beds are comfortably, the cocktails and drinks nice and pleasant. If you get a cheap deal for a week go for it, if its your main 2 week vacation for the year be wary.
