Waldemar Dauwalter 54, wife 47, son 10 years old. Stayed at the Mare Olympus-Kreta apartment from July 27 to August 10, 2020 (all inclusive). Booked through TUI- The only plus of this apartment is the location. To the beach 1 minute, to the center of the village 5 minutes, to the store 3 minutes. Nice view from the balcony. That was the end of the pros. My wife and I have been traveling for over 27 years and have seen both five-star hotels in the Maldives and the cheapest in Turkey, Spain and other countries. It seemed to us that we would not be surprised ,,, BUT. Upon arrival, we were given only one key for three, in order to get the second key, I had to ask the owners for two days. The apartment has old plumbing, everything is falling apart. The bath is yellow and dirty. The furniture is old. There are almost no dishes, there are a lot of cooks and only one teaspoon. The air conditioner is in the bedroom and blows directly onto the bed. The door from the bedroom to the living room cannot be closed because the child who slept on the couch suffocates from the heat. The restaurant resembles a working dining room from the 80s. Who does not know what it is, it can be compared with an airplane-Fish or meat. Lunch or dinner time is only one hour. Didn't have time for your problems. And for this we had lunch and dinner in restaurants. Drinks (all inclusive) are not easy to get. You can order them only on the 1st floor and drink there, but you have to go to the room to use the toilet. On the first floor, all the toilets are closed, I have not been able to find out the reason. After I demanded to open the toilet for me (since we lived on the 5th floor), oh joy ,,, they opened it to me and then closed it again. It seemed to us that they simply did not want to clean up again. You cannot take drinks from the refrigerator yourself, you need to look for an employee of the apartment, which is often not at the workplace. When I took a bottle of water and two bottles of beer from the refrigerator myself, the next day a lock appeared on the refrigerator (all photos are attached, unless the site owner removes them, of course) So we had to buy all drinks and water in the store and carry them to number. The nights at Mare Olympus were even more fun, as huge cockroaches woke up. On the second day, one ran over my head, I caught up with him only in the corridor (the photo is attached). They appeared almost every day. Of course after that there was no question of sleep. Dozing with the lights on. The cleaning ladies are trying to clean up, but there are too few of them, and for that stairs, balconies and terraces are dirty, ashtrays are full. The entire hotel is in disarray, disorder and an atmosphere of greed, everything needs to be begged, from a glass of water to attention to customers. The team working in the apartments is trying to smile at you and run fast, only there is no sense in it, you still feel as if you owe them something and live here for free. In general, we have not yet seen the worst place to live. We will never appear in these apartments again. Which is what I advise you.

The hotel is approximately 30m from the sea and as such has its important advantages. The staff was extremely comfortable and clear every minute during the stay was extremely pleasant and pleasant. The rooms are clean and tidy, they are held daily. The food is extremely tasty and diverse and deserves all praise, especially a birthday cake of surprise ... It is necessary to completely refresh the interior and adequately equip the apartments or at least change the concept with kitchens that now do not make much sense. The small pool was not interesting even beside a beautiful little beach, but it's all a matter of taste and choice ... The city is in immediate, pedestrian vicinity and it is also a solid connection with public transport with other places on the island. It is also possible to hire a car for easier and faster movement on the island, which really has something to see ...
