★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply good food! In many restaurants the food looks only fancy but it’s dry or has no taste. In this taverna everything is super authentic - fresh vegetables and good meat, prepared and grilled nicely and brought to the table with a smile. We accidentally found the place in the middle of the old town - and we came back just to try something different. The kitchen is super small but everything was prepared mouthwatering and deliciously. If you are in old town of Rethymno just go there and try something. Ps: and the little plate with fresh fruits after the dish is for free ;)
