Kamena Vourla is a seaside town of the Fthiotida district. They are located on the northern coast of the North Evian Gulf, while just behind the city rises the steep slopes of Kameni mountain. The favorable position of Kamena Vourla near Athens, 175 km away, via the Athens-Thessaloniki motorway and 40 km from Lamia, as well as the combination of sea and forested mountain, turned the area into a remarkable resort, mainly during the 1960s and 1970s. Today they are still a major tourist spa, attracting mainly visitors from nearby areas, especially for its therapeutic sources.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ PLEASE MUST DO! If you can drive a jetski then you can drive an ATV. They are absolutely fantastic! NIKOS was our guide, driving ahead of us while we followed in the side-by-side buggy. With years of experience, polite and a very chilled attitude he led us up the mountain off road track. That is an experience that anyone can do, just remember to bring an International Driving Permit. Being an easy trail as well as rewarding with spectacular views of the city, ocean, mountains and some trees fallen across the path, we even spotted two turtles making there way across! Terrain is mostly loose gravel but the buggy ate it up comfortably and left us wanting more! We booked from 9am-12pm on a weekday so very little traffic and best sun position for driving in my opinion.
Afterwards we changed vehicles to drive a large ATV all the way from Athens to the Temple of Posiedon (5 hour round trip) on the costal highway with our same guide NIKOS. If you enjoy Riviera style cruising with the cool air and warm sun then go from 12pm-5pm and enjoy one of the best drives just outside of Athens. Thanks again to NIKOS for helping us to expand our tour of Athens from a beautiful different perspective ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely worth every penny! Nik took me and my boyfriend on a tour to the mountains and the view at the top was absolutely amazing. All the staff were really helpful and friendly, Nik was also an excellent tour guide and we stopped off several times to take in the views and took photos. Absolutely amazing and would recommend to anybody who visits Athens

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I arrived, I wasn't expecting to ride through the hills of Athens while visiting. Nick was one the best guides I ever had for a tour, as he was informational, friendly, and subtle. Definitely worth it if you want to experience something outside of the center of the city and I do plan on returning to try another adventure when I'm back in Athens.

Not much you can do for 100euro these days, but a 3 hour quad trip is well worth it. Amazing views of Athens from high above sea level. Even is we did get soaking wet in the end due to massive thunder storm, but that’s all part of the fun.
Would use Dirt Moto again for future trips, hopefully next time will do a buggy trip.
****Update. Deposit was returned to bank card two days later. Don’t believe the negative reviews about them not refunding money
