Extremely professionally, very responsive and unbeatable prices - especially at the height of summer season. The check in process was a breeze and I was on my way in under 5 min.
Located right near the Acropolis, if you’re looking for a car rental near the city center.
I also highly enjoyed the car provided. Even though full online booking is not yet available (They’re the new kids on the block and run by 2 lovely young men who really value customer service), they responded to my request sent at midnight within 20 min!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented Peugeot 207 on automatic transmission for a week. Had a lovely time on this car. Transmission is robotic, so it accelerates slowly and can move a bit back when on a hill so it’s better to use handbrake on hills sometimes.
Icarus managers are nice and helpful, we’ll be happy to rent a car from Icarus once again.

While staying in the Koukaki area, I rented a car for an overnight trip to Nafplio. The car was a mid 2010s four-door Kia Rio with higher mileage, but still in impeccable condition. The rental procedure was smooth and without hiccups, and there were no hidden fees. Icarus also had the lowest prices compared to a couple of other places I checked out, and their online price was the same as when I went in person (which shouldn't be surprising but in a day and age of extra fees...).
I wouldn't hesitant to recommend Icarus to those staying in Koukaki, and is probably worth the trip from neighboring areas too.

The staff was helpful prior and during the rental, they even recommended which locations to visit and which to skip. There were no hidden charges or mandatory insurances.
