We were told we had to return the scooter 20 hours after picking it up and they wanted to charge us for 2 days. Very misleading. They shouldn’t of told us the rental was 80 Euro when the minimum price was 160 Euro. Your reply to this message contains 4 lies. I do have an international license. The ATV I wanted to rent was 550 CC and not 700 CC. You only told me once that the price would be double and that was when I returned. If you told me the first time I arrived, I wouldn’t have returned. And you told me I had to return the scooter at 12 PM, and not 2PM. So many lies in one reply.

Plus they gave us a bad helmet which doesn’t fit and was not lockable. We realized that after we did the contract cause that was the first time the guy mentioned that.They told us to come back 2 hours later so we had to take the unsafe helmet in the first place. As we came back and ask for a functional helmet they still didn’t had any. They wished us a safe ride and we told them we won’t leave without a save helmet.So we waited instead of enjoying the scooter. After a while I told them that we are still waiting for a save helmet. We get a privat one from one of the employees. I wouldn’t recommend to rent a scooter there.

It's is just a shame that i can't get hold to this memories because this rental made my vacation a horror. At first you both agree for a certain price, afterwards you pay a deposit for gaurantee. This is where they managed to trick us and maybe many others. They don't give back you're deposit of gaurantee. This is ILLEGAL. You just lost a customer and I hope you wont get any in the future. They always fall back with their same excuse " Apparently you damaged the bike" which is not true. Me and my girlfriend brought it back to you guys and at last you checked and confirmed the bike... Please if anybody is reading this. Don't go to this store. Have a nice day!

They charge the scooters anything from 30-40 euros per day (high season) and you have to rent it for at least two days, otherwise they "do not make enough even for the cleaning cost"!! They offered me a wreck of a scooter for a single day for 45 euros. Thanks no thanks, I'll rent a car instead. Stay clear of this business, there are rentals around the Acropolis museums that will take good care of your travels for 20-25 euros per day. Could have given minus five stars if possible.

When we returned the scooters, we were told that it would take a maximum of 15 days before we would get the deposit back on our account. We’re 2 months ahead and still have not gotten the deposit back !!!! We have contacted them several times but they are making a fuss about OUR money we have a RIGHT TO. So if you paljaskes read this, we want that € 200 back or a registered letter will come your way. Salutjes

Nic helped me the most and gave me a few tips for driving around and parking in Athens as the rules aren’t always black and white in this city. Prices are very reasonable and can be seen on their website. There was no “hidden costs” or sneaky fees that some other rentals places throw on. I will be back to hire a scooter again in the future! (EDIT: it has been 5 working days and I’m still waiting for my 100€ deposit to be refunded to my bank account as agreed on (should have been 3-4 business days). I hope it goes through but thought I’d just make a mention of it here for others to be on the look out for their refund if they chose to rent through Green Motos.) (EDIT: the deposit has now been refunded. There was a bank error from the Greek side but the guys at Green Motos were very easy and helpful to work with to have the issue resolved promptly!)
