Nice hotel, very well located near the sea and the citadelle. Modern and very clean rooms. The breakfast is really crazy, with qualitative and local products. Moreover the staff is very kind. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at the Dom Boutique Hotel! The room was decorated in a warm and welcoming way and we were always looking forward to return to the hotel after a long day of exploring Crete. The breakfast buffet offers many different options, from Cretan specialties, cereals, bread and cut, yoghurt with fruits to sweet waffles with chocolate sauce. As already mentioned in the other reviews, the location of the hotel is right at the heart of Heraklion - you have the city parking at an affordable rate right in front of the hotel, there are lots of shops, taverns and sights in the area and it’s just a five minute walk to the beautiful old harbour. Apart from all that, it was the outstanding service that made our stay the perfect experience on Crete. The staff is very professional, always kind and friendly and no matter what sort of problem you have - just ask for help at the reception and everything will be taken care of. We recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to have an exclusive and centrally located accommodation in Heraklion, where the amenities and the lovely staff make it easy to feel at home.

A lovely gesture towards boutique, but not eccentric or different enough to validate the it's name. The bed was wonderful, the bedroom clean, and the view from the 3rd floor was unfortunately not much. There were lovely details like modern light switches and modern interior design and flow. However some of the features were impractical or a little annoying. We payed for the deluxe room option and we were both slightly disappointed by the room. We have just been touring Crete for a week and we were both looking forward to rewarding ourselves with a boutique experience. The reception to DOM was wonderful, the perfume of the parlour parlour a nice touch, the sign in system was clunky but the receptionist more than made up for the process with her charm. The rooms are nice and modern, but the layout flow between the bedroom and bathroom was a little frustrating in that there was no middle door between the toilet and the bedroom which made every moment in the bathroom a very 'public' experience for anyone else in the room. The marble effect was printed, the basin drain not installed well, the complimentary slippers were cheap, and there was only one normal and one decaf espresso pod per person. Never mess with coffee mate! As a boutique hotel, it's in these finer details that you expect to fing the "it" factor and unfortunately it didn't hit the mark for us. Especially having just come from other less rated hotels that over delivered on expectation. But, this is being seriously critical. DOM is a lovely hotel, in a great location with friendly staff. As a hotel it did well. And we would recommend it as a normal sort of hotel, and perhaps try a different location for the boutique experience.

We expected a bit more from a 5-star hotel. The breakfast was nice and the service was very friendly. The only two rooms with a "view" are the top suits (that have a sort of Jacuzzi). The hotel doesn't have a swimming pool. Is small and very clean. Very well situated in Heraklion.

The perfect place to visit Heraklion. The staff is helpful, kind and efficient. The breakfast very good. Confortable room. The ideal situation. Have fun.

I had a wonderful experience. The staffs were incredibly accommodating and the service was exceptional. I felt very safe, the accommodation features a 24-hour front desk that was very responsive, I was provided with airport transfers, travel guidance around Herakilon and free WiFi. The facilities are quite modern and the hotel is in close proximity to city centre so no need for transportation. DOM Boutique Hotel would definitely be my first option when visiting Herakilon again.
