★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made sure I was renting a car with "get full, return full" fuel policy. Enterprise provided a car half empty. I returned the car with more fuel, they just kept the extra and did not refund the difference.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was blackmailed into paying extra fees on arrival after they refused to use my visa debit card to take deposit. Never had a credit card and never had an issue with hiring car or putting deposit at hotel etc before. Company is a complete scam and you should avoid. Not worth the hassle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a car at Alamo and were very satisfied with the service. The car was older and had a few dings and dangs, but worked flawlessly. That was fine with be because I‘m not comfortable driving over dusty roads with a brand new one. We got our money unblocked from the credit card immediately after returning the car. Service was very friendly and we didn’t have to wait long although there were three people before us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last week we rented a car from Alamo (which is owned by Enterprise), choosing them over their slightly cheaper rivals based on expectations of less hassle in case of any problems. This turned out to be a prudent choice.
The pick-up process was smooth and the car lived up to our expectations. But what drives me (no pun intended) to leave this review is the level of service we received when we encountered a technical problem at a somewhat remote location. The car couldn't start, so we called in. Lo and behold, the owner of the company showed up and attempted to rectify the problem. When this turned out to be more complex, he summoned a mechanic who came with a replacement battery as well as a replacement vehicle. All this in a very friendly and helpful tone, and on a Saturday evening.
Ultimately, we were delayed a bit, but left with a very good impression of a service-minded company. Kudos to Alamo Zakynthos!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had some issues with my bank deposit which could fortunately be resolved by getting the local insurance (FDW). To comfort us, the employee also gave us an upgrade. The car was clean and also great (Seat Ibiza). Returning the car was fast and easy. If I come back to Zakynthos, I would definitely use their service again.
