However everything related to our booking was in order which is what matters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Car was ready and waiting. Friendly efficient service. Given an automatic when I'd ordered a manual, but was asked if I was OK with it. Inside of windscreen was very streaky, which was a bit of an issue in the bright sunlight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Renting a car for one week was made really easy by Avis and the receptionist Anastasia. Everything was really smooth, it took us less than 10 minutes to sign everything and the price was reasonable even if we didn't book online beforehand (could be more if there are people queuing). The car was brand new so was obviously clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attention: while renting the car, if they tell you that they can be reached by phone and email, especially for extending the duration, that is utter rubbish. This is actually how they screw you. Moreover, they take advantage of being one of the two agencies in the airport. At first sight the staff looks friendly and flexible but don’t be fooled with that attitude. They provided us with misleading information about the terms and conditions to prolong the duration. I am extremely surprised with this service from Avis. And don’t worry, just 50 meters outside the airport, there are MANY rent a car company.
