Really nice, view on the beach, good swimming pool and really awesome staff. I recommand to ask Nikos if you need tips for good and not too mainstream beaches and places to see around the island, his advices were very good.

Very nice staff, at your service. Very nice hotel into the mountain in the village of Koutouloufari in Criti island. Very good and tasty food especially the vegetables and the French fries!!

Too sad I can't give more than 5 ⭐. The hotel is beautiful. The staff is so kind with great customer service. The rooms are cosy and modern. Special thanks to Maria who made our 10 days stay even better by helping us to get a room upgrade. Thank you Creta

Check-In Arriving late 11pm to the hotel I was met by a very friendly security guard who escorted me to reception via golf buggy as it’s a steep hill at the front specially with bags. Reception again super friendly and welcoming they also had some food (cold meats and local Greek bites) set aside for me at checkin which was a life saver as I was starving. Check in was super smooth which is defo something you want when you arrive late at night. Food Breakfast buffet was a nice mix of the usual naughty carbs one expects along with some healthy fruits, local cold meats and cheeses and other bits and real nice variety of fresh breads come in too. The staff all welcoming and smiling and greeting you a nice morning (kalimera) hello. This resorts charm definitely has to be appreciated. I also give points to the fresh fresh orange juice (no concentrate here) and on an island known to grow citrus you expect they come in abundance. Lunch and dinner buffet again a nice variety of choices and colour but both these buffet meals defo needs to work on flavouring and chef needs to take some risk. I started with grilled chicken and the fried fish for lunch neither had any flavour to them only after adding extra bits to these both in the very good condiment and herb station did I make these bland dishes worth while. The kitchen need to be adventurous a bit. In my opinion until the kitchen work on their meals bed and breakfast or a half board basis is worth it. Your better off going to the local village (left outside the hotel) and finding lovely restaurants to eat from this is what I did for 2days out of my 3 day trip. The room My reservation gave me a Premium Inland View Suite. The room is a good size space for 2ppl to share, most importantly for me anywhere I stay is measured on the quality of the pillows in bed and thankfully they were super comfy and I got a good night sleep. The bathroom is just a shower and space is I think is on the small side so don’t expect to share the bathroom with your other half anytime it’s a space that works for one. Cleanliness The Apollo Bar The bar is the perfect place for sundowners and chilling the evening away from your room. With views overlooking the sea and a tranquil playlist it offers up the perfect vibe just to relax. The cocktail menu is really good and full of some great classic numbers along with some new concoctions. Post dinner a resident DJ steps in and offers a great mix and this just livens up the bar that little bit more and really makes the vibe great. If I had a plus one on this trip I would force her to dance. Overall it’s a win from me.

My husband booked the hotel for our honeymoon in Crete and we had one of the most romantic and lovely stay in one of their Romantic Honeymoon Suite Sea view rooms with outdoor jacuzzi so I can't speak about the other room but that one we were in was comfortable and had a hot top on a private balcony and a tub in the room as well as shower room. The staff at this place were absolutely lovely- attentive, friendly and helpful. Sylvia who deals with guests relations was very with organising tour to Santorini outside hotel eventhough the hotel themselves were not running tour. The hotel did lovely job at decorating the room romantically with candles and rose petals gor when we arrived and were accomodating to arrange a private rooftop dinner for us. We also went to the spa when we were there and again we were greeted with friendly faces and left very relaxed after all our treatments. We had such a lovely time and would recommend highly.

No warm water for 6 days out of 11. Arrogant owner. View of staircase not great. Food average. Very clean. Reception staff very friendly. "Heated pool" freezing. Drinks ridiculously overpriced. Negatives far outweigh the positives. Avoid at all costs.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, very clean and very helpful. A delightful week spent here and exploring the island. I would 100% reccomend staying. Incredible food, and service is second to none. Stunning views over the sea and to the mountains also adds to the ambience

We had a wonderful stay! + The whole hotel building is very beautiful. We stayed in the room with private pool and sea view. The room was spacious and the pool heated. There is no ladder in the pool, so you need to be aware that you have to climb out using your own muscle strength + Upon arrival there was a free bottle of red wine, a bottle of Raki, water, some dessert and a fruit platter for us. The free water was replenished every day. + On the first day there was an issue with the toiled - it would not flush. We were amazed by the speed they sent someone over to fix it even though it was later in the evening. + The room and all areas of the hotel were very clean. The housekeeping staff did a great job. The pool was checked every day as well. + The staff was friendly and always helpful in a very genuine way + Breakfast and dinner were delicious and there was plenty of choice + Koutouloufari is a very nice little town with great restaurants and small shops. A nice place to have a walk after breakfast or dinner and spend some time. + We received a small continental buffet style breakfast on the day we left very early at 6am + We even received a thank you gift when we left - On two nights there was an event at the bar with loud music until 1am. Our room was located very close to the bar which made it difficult to sleep with an open window - The drinks in the restaurant were fairly expensive Overall, we can highly recommend staying at Esperides Resort. It was a great experience.
