EverThing worked well. However, the car rental is not exactly at the airport but there is a pickup with a 3-4min drive. The driver was not around when we arrived, so we had to ask arround until somebody told us there is a transport. It would be good to have a designated waiting spot at the airport for the pickup.

Dishonest and unfriendly agency. They do not represent what Europcar stands for. They'll try any method to get extra money from you. Response to the response: Dear Europcar Heraklion Airport, thank you for your reply. Your branch didn't follow the procedures and you didn't investigate my case. I wrote you an email 3 weeks ago with all the details about my complaint and I'm still waiting for an answer. It is of no use to answer only to the public reviews. Best regards, Nicolas

Careful ! They will find the tiniest little dammage to charge you. When we took the car, they checked under (there was already a lot of hitches... no wonder given the roads in Crete !) And when we took it back, they found a new one, and it lasted 45min of discussions, arrangements and negotiation... To bring the price from almost 900€ to 200€. Run ! They are thieves and dishonest people! Too bad, the holidays were perfect until then.

Their office is not actually at the airport. There is a person with a sign waiting for you there. I spent 10 minutes looking for the person because I didn't know it and I got out from a different exit. Plus a 10 minute delay from my flight. I got fined 40e for over hours. The worst is that they want to charge me another 40e for delivering the car in over hours as well. There was nothing like that in the booking. The booking had a set price that apparently they won't respect. The car is damaged which is a big liability for me. It seems they are just looking for opportunities to charge you extra. Not recommend.

Really bad experience. We reserved an SUB and payed everything in advance. When we arrived they didn’t have a car for us the size we payed and gave us a smaller one. They didn’t helped at all and also didn’t give us the price difference back. Their answer was that we came at 15:00 ( because of the flight) and our reservation was at 12:00.. we payed in advanced so they should have our car reserved in my opinion. They were not helpful at all. Never again.

Great service, quick and efficient, good prices and great cars. Very friendly and professional staff. Amex is accepted but no debit card (unfortunately). there is a shuttle to/from the airport. If you come from the city take bus line 1 which has a stop next to the office. Worth recommending.

The WORSE ever in my life experience with a car rental company. My spouse and myself have experienced exactly what Ricardo and Florence have faced. For just a slight scratch under the front bumper have charged us 253 Euro. Since the scratch is not visible and has no safety implications for the car, how is possible for such a slight scratch to charge the customer with the Full amount of replacing/repairing the entire bumper?! It seems a way to collect easy money from multiple customers without providing any proof that for each slight scratches the entire bumper is replaced. In addition, when receiving the car it was dark night and with a rainy storm. So, neither us nor the employee could check the car in details and in such a non visible place under the front bumper.This very important element has also been neglected by the employee and the general manager who have decided arbitrarily to charge us this huge amount. Furthermore, exactly same incidence/situation with several different customers can be considered happening by chance?

We have had a great experience using Europcar Heraklion Airport. We were picked up as been told, we checked the car thoroughly together without pressure or uneasy feeling. The car Renault Clio was brand new! Upon return the car was checked and after sign of they brought us back to the airport. Great service, amazing staff!!
