Honestly taken aback with our initial conversation about seating us at our table, we had thought of actually walking out straight away.

A	Alexander Varvarenko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My rating is based on comparing two restaurants we visited in Santorini. Both are just 2 minutes walk away. Vezene and Fly Away. Incredible how on an island, both fine-dining restaurants can be so different. While FLY AWAY deserves a 6, because of its food, service, comfort, prices and the view, VEZENE only deserves a 3. In simple words, when comparing these two places, your get half the quality of food for double (sometimes triple) the price! FlyAway: Each dish is a piece of art! Prices are very good for what you get! Service is friendly and comforting (not overacted). The design of the peace and the view is stunning! Best restaurants we have ever been to! Stratos Haitaridis - the Chef - deserves a Michelin star! Christos Ntemirtsanis - is a great guy and deserves all our compliments! This restaurant made our stay amazing! Vezene: The food in Vezene is overpriced. Dishes are more or less standard. where grape leaves are traditionally used, are prepared with cabbage and the waiters say “the leaves are all sold out, so we use cabbage”. There are too many waiters ao it’s funny to see how they run around and double-do the work - seems like a result of poor management.

We had food and cocktails outside by the pool not on the restaurant so it is a different menu. The food and cocktails was pretty good quality but nothing special. The reason you visit this place is for the view which is abit special. I don’t personally think it’s good value for the money as there are plenty of other places either free or cheaper to enjoy the view. We enjoyed our time here but wouldn’t rush back.

Maybe the cards we were dealt with, the server did not ask our choices before starting so was recommending standard dishes across - we went with the recommendations and unfortunately did not enjoy.

C	Chavely Alvarez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful sunset but not for the price of admission, considering we stayed at Oia the first 2/3 days of our Santorini trip. Service was subpar, most likely due to the fact that it was pretty busy. Food was incredibly overpriced and we had to spend a minimum of $50euro per person. Drinks were tasty but had to wait about 15-30 minutes for one. We wanted to check it out since it was a popular spot but we won’t be going again as we can watch the beautiful sunset from any other place and can get better quality/portion in another upscale restaurant for the same price point.
