★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, cool, serene place where you could spend hours just listening to the sound of the spring. Starting point to the cave of Zeus — just make sure you are wearing good shoes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This (in my opinion) is the best place to climb mountsin Zes (Zeus). It took my significant other and I 4 hours to reach the summit and go back down to our car, with brakes ofcourse. It is a steep climb but doable. It is recommended to put on good hiking/running shoes, bring sunscreen and 2l of water for each person, and some snacks! The cave of Zeus and the view from the summit are worth your efforts! The Cave is a 20 minuten hike from the fountain for the People interrested. Do not forget to bring a flashlight! A phone light is not bright enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When visiting Naxos make sure and get up to the Aria spring, fill up your water and take the 90 minutes hike to the topmost peak of Mount Zas, fill up and relax at the spring on the way back. The view is gorgeous, the air is cool even on the hottest days. Go early so you are back before it gets too hot. Love it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth going if you are around beautiful small place it was pretty quiet. Not much to do or time to spend there. You can also start the Mountains Zeus hike from that spot and on the way down you'll be rewarded with some fresh cold water coming from the fountain
There's a sign saying the water is drinkable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mountain spring water at its finest! This is a short walk from the car park and prior to the path leading to Zeus’s Cave.
You can drink the water and put it in a bottle. No additives or chlorine, you can taste how pure it is - incredible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Settled at the foot of Mt. Zas - the Cyclades highest peak, this is a nice cool spring in the trees shadow with cold refreshing water to fill up bottles for those hiking up.
The winding road from the picturesque village of Filoti takes less than 10 min. Drive with extra caution - it's two way and pretty narrow and there's no fence alongside it, just the abyss below.
The spring is also one of hiking starting points to the peak, but it's not my cup of tea. We were very satisfied with views from here and the comfort of driving around
