P	P E on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το Οχυρό Νυμφαίας είναι ένα στρατιωτικό μουσείο το οποίο βρίσκεται 17 χιλιόμετρα βορείως της Κομοτηνής κοντά στα Ελληνοβουλγαρικά σύνορα.Το οχυρό κατασκευάστηκε το 1936-1940 και αποτελεί ένα από τα έργα οχύρωσης του Ιωάννη Μεταξά. Το οχυρό της Νυμφαίας είναι διάσημο σήμερα για την μάχη όπου έγινε στις 6-9 Απριλίου 1941 όταν ο Γερμανικός στρατός επιτέθηκε και τελικά κατέκτησε το οχυρό.Από το 2000 το Οχυρό Νυμφαίας λειτουργεί ως στρατιωτικό μουσείο. Nymfaia Fortress is a military museum located 17 km north of Komotini near the Greek-Bulgarian border. The fortress of Nymphaea is famous today for the battle that took place on 6-9 April 1941 when the German army attacked and finally captured the fortress. Since 2000 the Fortress of Nymphaea has been operating as a military museum.
